I was always confused growing up on why tech was taken out of sequel games. Raging Blast is what Brawl is to Melee, just a watered down version by comparison, gameplay wise. I'm glad that the developers of Sparking Zero are striving for it to be the true successor to BT3 that we never got.

@@cheeseisgood17you’re remembering right. Some melee moves that were quick became button timed moves and was slower. The only thing rb has over bt3 was the frametate. Which still didn’t matter because bt3 was faster 💀. Some move became very cinematic and as a result felt slower. Lastly of course the the cut roster
@@pazvstheworld yup I watched some gameplay recently for the first time in a while although I haven't played it in a decade. It looks like it holds up still but it definitely feels more cinematic and slower paced than BT3. The combo strings are nothing like BT3. I like that Sparking Zero is shooting to be a direct sequel to BT3. They even doubled the basic movement speed to make it more fast paced 👌🧑🍳
@@cheeseisgood17 well time only watch gameplay your memory is nice. I bought raging blast 2 last year and i been had bt3 before on console. Now on emulator. But i played both back to back. I usually get the best out the way (bt3) then play raging blast/2 and oh man is it slower. And the experience is just better on bt3. I hope like you said they do bt3’s good things plus raging blast’s (i guess) good things too. Jokes aside both are awesome and we actually can get a game that combines the both 🤯
I always found RB2 very fun, but i didnt like it over tenkaichi because there was too many cinematic cut-events, kind of like xenoverse 2, i enjoy just being able to see my char use a blast instead of it doing a camera change/cinematic if i use any ability. in TK3 i found there was less
I actually prefer the drawn out animations of DBRB way more, I also feel like some of these are unfair comparisons like not showcasing Ultra Spirit Bomb in RB2 or not showing the true evasive prowess ingame. But I do enjoy the fast pace of BT3 a lot more.

@TheSaint_Y the drawn out animations feel frustration Like I don't care to see the camera angle change so I cant see my opponent anymore. Also being locked into the animation while unable to see is just annoying. Omg cool! It fif a spin 360 noscope camera shift. I can't see anything happening other than this shitty cinematic. Takes away from 1 immersion. I enjoy 3rd person control vs Forced pointless animations.
Tenkaichi, for me, a series of games that best correspond to the anime, the gameplay, the list of playable characters, the transformation, combativeness, injuries and clothes torn during a fight, all the characters have blood and real damage in the middle of a fight, master class
Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 3 was released on PS2 and they still are the best of all Dragon Ball games so I will say that the golden era of DBZ games was the PS2 one
love both, and honestly hope to see the best of both put into Sparking Zero

Yea the cinematics in BT3 were only used for special attacks / moves.

PS3 really was the golden of era of games, the change is quality is astounding
