    What is smart cap, and where is it used? Processing, I don't think so . Just got an ASiair, SA GTI, astromoded DSLR. is smart cap in my future, if so can you point me toward any useful info, so I may learn more?

      Sharpcap is a software used for astrophotography. It is rich with great astrophotography tools. While it's compatible with DSLRs, it's primarily designed for dedicated astronomy cameras.

      If things go well, I will soon have a ZWO ASI 533MC Pro. So if in time I can digest the learning curve it should put me on the correct path. Can I be pointed toward some info to better understand this software. There's alot!

      I would use a darkest region in the sky to calculate.
