I came here for Kaki King and discovered Yasmin Williams who is also great.
Just watched Yasmin's Tiny Desk and instantly thought of Kaki King. Was not surprised that they are connected in the music community.
Two guitar geniuses! Inspires me to play this afternoon. Gotta say as well watching this video with a 89.5 KOPN near Yasmin's feet was a heck of a treat. My whole love of eclectic music started as a young teen in Columbia Missouri during the early 1970s listening to KOPN, especially bluegrass jamming and flat picking guitarists.
Fan - flippin' - tastic! Lovely to see Yasmine play with Kaki, and even lovelier to hear Kaki's praise for Yasmine's talent. I routinely buy these ladies' new albums the minute they come out because - duh!
I'm left speechless and inspired each and every time I hear this young sister perform.
Well this was unexpected. I’m trying to wrap my day because I have a 11am downbeat on Veterans Day, and now I’m trapped until these talented artists release me.

Really beautiful performance inside a beautiful space
This is a truly wonderful concert. I'm kind of a fingerstyle traditionalist who doesn't cotton to tappings and string preparations and stuff like that but these two have single-handedly (or should I say double-handedly?) changed my mind. Brava to Yasmin and Kaki.
Ovation guitars are separate but equal in the guitar world. Sometimes Ovations sound a lot better than tone woods because Ovations can go more digital. Kaki inspired people to buy Ovations. Your remarkable KAKI. KING
