This song is in C scale for a reason. ;)
I would usually plug the discord here, but that would feel disingenuous. This song isn't for the sake of being a song or for uploading, it is to tell a special someone a special something and prove to him that, for once, the troublemaker wasn't just making trouble.
Edit: I've realized in thinking about this song that it comes off as me blaming the person I wrote the song for for not talking to me. I should clarify, I do NOT think that is the case, it is definitely mostly my fault since I've never tried to approach this kid, either. I wanted to write a separate song explaining this, but I want to show the person I wrote this for the song tomorrow, so I feel it would be frustrating to try and show the kid two songs.
Also, a less necessary edit, I want to clarify a certain lyric, since one of my friends asked me about it. There is one lyric that says "I wrote two whole songs for you." This song is included I the count. The other song for this kid was "A Word to You" which is why they both bring up stage acting. "A Lost Soul, A Broken Heart" has absolutely nothing to do with this kid.

Background (added June 1st, 2022): I already explained some things in the edit section, so I will only add what hasn't been said. I also will not explain my cryptic messaging in the paragraph I wrote. While I was really proud of this song when I had made it, you might be able to tell that I really don't like this song anymore, much like all of my other old songs.
This song was written for someone who, in my head, was super cool. I thought he talked to everyone and was really nice to everyone except for me, who I thought he wouldn't even look at. I went home one day after school and was crying to myself, saying that I had done so many things to try to get this kid to like me, all to no avail. I wrote this and decided that I would show him. He never told me what he thought of it, but I get the idea he didn't appreciate it, which I understand.
This song was written in about 20 minutes, so anything that seems kind of rushed probably was lol.
This was probably my most well received song with my friends. I still think this is one of my worst, but if you like it, I won't hold it against you. It is just that, if I ever get lucky enough to be able to perform songs live, this will never be on my set list.
