Shay-Lillāh ‘Abd al-Qādir - شيء لله عبد القادر

When I called upon the falcon,"'O the Falcon of Baghdad!"

He gave me to drink from the goblet of life
By the life of your grandfather, O Falcon from the 'Adnāni progeny!
Place your gaze upon us
Indeed, I belong to al-Jaylāni!

This is Istigatha. Which is established from the Qur’an and Sunnah. As a Hadith mentions (summarised): When you lose your way, or your steed runs away, you may say: Oh Servants of Allah, Assist me! (Ya IbadAllah, A’eenuni) because Allah has servants which you do not see.
Allah grants some of his servants and friends power to help others.
But it does not mean we worship a person when we ask for help. Because we know that the only Real Doer and Benefiter / Harmer is Allah ﷻ. But He has created Asbaab (intermediary causes). Just like when we take medicine, we believe Allah will create the cure and the medicine is only a sabab.
May we receive the assistance of the Friend of Allah Shaykh Abdul Qadir al Jilani (rha). 🤲🏽ﷺ
