    This video's objective is to provide detailed instructions for taking routine knee/patella radiographs. Radiographic positioning included in this video are the anteroposterior (AP), medial oblique, lateral oblique, and lateral knee/patella. *Discuss radiographic techniques using anatomic and projection terminology for the anteroposterior (AP), medial oblique, lateral oblique, and lateral knee/patella. *Apply patient positioning techniques for common knee and patella radiographs. *List and identify the central ray location, image receptor (IR) size, marker placement, and image receptor placement. *Explain radiographic equipment manipulation for required radiographic examinations. *Describe procedural considerations for required radiographic examinations. *Discuss the relevance of pathology in radiographic procedures. *Explain the rationale for each projection. *Describe the positioning used to visualize anatomic structures.

    one way i remebered the knee angulation is that if you have a BIG booty (>24cm) it goes to your HEAD (3-5 cephalad)

    Agh. The problem with these videos is that the person speaking will make a clear error and not correct it. There is no "apex of the knee." There is an apex of the patella. If your question on the boards is "where do you center for an AP knee?" and you choose "a half inch below the apex of the knee" you have just failed.

      That makes no sense since you literally just said there is no apex of the knee, therefore why would the ARRT have that as an option. You should be reading your books and class materials for that information anyways, this is just a visualization of the positioning.
