Can't believe the amount of gear taken to the bank for a days fishing, first fished Cuttle Mill in the seventies not long after it opened, also my introduction to that iconic carp rod, the Jim Gibbinson Clooper Carp!!
Waited for this vid, glad you lads caught, my mate and myself had plenty of knocks, but no runs, felt your pain on the loss but so chuffed you got that lovely one out of the peg me and my mate tried the day before. Oh and again thanks for letting us have that peg as we went for the day ticket due to work, you guys are legends :)
good to see cuttle , spent loads of days on there in the 90's , tony was a great chap , co6ld be tricky back then aswell , must get back down in the not 2 distant future ( & the cafe was great)
Very nice video guys, its nice to see you both working together forming a plan and going through the stages of it all and having that hard won fish as your prize! I look forward to seeing the next one in the upcoming months. 👍👍
Hi all when this series first started I asked Mozza if there would be instructions on fishing ie setups basic tips etc especially spodding & marker float setups from scratch ie braid & shock leaders tying up & reels to use etc, I've watched most of series & not found any tips of any use to beginners...
Caught my PB from there 30lb 4oz about 10 years ago. Thought the big fish were sold off some time ago. Would prefer it without the Mozza abuse and the weird power play! Great production quality and both brilliant anglers. Nice way of informing the viewer re rigs and to see that the pros are human.
I didn't enjoy my Cuttle Mill fishing. Had a 3 or 4 in about 5 trips. It was very peggy and depended on a good draw. Also most of the fish only fed just as it was going dark and then you get kicked off unless you have special permission to night fish on the odd occassion they grant it to special guests or ££££.
I live about 5 mins away from the mill and never fished it. puts me off the fact it's only days unless you pay for 2 days mid week you get the night inbetween free. also the peg draw puts me off.
cotsworld carper i did fish it a couple of years ago, the draw all depends on the people fishing - the days i was there the first person picked a peg straight away and the rest of us agreed to have a wander agree it between us (only reverting to the draw order if two people wanted the same peg), still managed a blank though 🙁
@@fishingfamilyuk hi mate yeah that's what puts me off about the place if I'm honest mate. don't get me wrong u love the look of the place just seems the pegging rule or draw rule isn't as good as it could be...
@@cotsworldcarper5656 yeah it really depends on who happens to be fishing at the same time as you. Also not sure about the comment about it not being restocked. I was told it definitely had been!
Went back to a vid i enjoyed watching , rip iain . Legend❤️

What pods Iain Using ?
Looks like the new century carbon one
its the custom angling solutions, satellite system by the looks of it. Same company that worked with Century on their new pod.
core2thebone they’re really well made bits of kit
You forgot Des Taylor
Gecko Gaming loved the floater fishing at cuttle mill video he did!
My mate was friends with Des and told me the day they filmed when he fished the pontoon it was rubbish. So Tony put a few on the hook ,
The smaller pool always fished better but the bigger pool had the better fish

I m loving the crack boys gooď on youj
Why do these guys take a band of musicians fishing with them. I prefer the peace and quiet myself.
