In finns, it can reach as high as 1/4. Siberians are Native American closest relatives, as they came from Siberia. Because siberian ancestry can be found in many parts of the world, and spans tens of thousands of years, algorithms sometimes have to be tweaked based on the other ethnicities, which would make it more evident which native gene pool is the most likely scenario. Chances are she does have European ancestry since any person in America ,who has been here for generations has mixed ancestry. The daughter really is 50 50. So cool. I was adopted and my sons all did this. It really is amazing. We knew I was mixed but I look Spanish. Turns out I'm alot of different things. One of my boys stayed on ancestry and because he did we've found my birth mother's family. She has passed away but I now have a relationship with my sister and cousins and aunts. I'll be meeting her for the first time very soon.
Her results would indicate the father is 100% European and the mother is 80% African and 20% European. You should do 23andMe to get your haplogroups and there is a way to get the health report stuff for free with the 23andMe raw data.
@@PerfectlyBlended You will have to upload the raw data to [Wegene com/en]. Aloha from Hawai'i! You might never find my response, but I'll comment anyway. You asked what viewers thought about Jasmine's background, given her appearance. Siberian and other ethnic groups since not all Russians are strictly white European. Slavic is not Asian It would be more Asian if she had Native American than Eastern European. The Russian region would be Asiatic Russia and could include imclude Buryatian and other ethnicities.
Why did he call Jasmine "white"?? Jasmine doesn't look white at all. She has color. She definitely looks ethnic.. She looks maybe mediterranean, Semitic, or Latino, with some African mixture.
Really interesting video, your baby girl looks so much like Greg, Chantal you and Greg need to do one, you would be so surprised with your results. my cousin did the test about four years ago, but he did not believe that it was factual and legit, so he sent me the DNA kit with Ancestry and asked me to do the test. Well needless to say I was a little skeptical, but I did it, and it showed detailed info of regions that I knew I had a bloodline from and surprises for regions I was not expecting.... and would you believe they sent me a tree and a note showing my cousin’s name stating that we were indeed first cousin’s 😀😅 I was shocked and pleasantly surprised, the kit gives actual results.... great video, thanks guys, thanks for always brightening my day👍

Curious about all the asian comments. When I was first born my mother thought they have given her the wrong child because I looked so "Asian." I'm also of mixed ancestry and have done multiple of these tests. The results change a bit depending on which company does the test and provides the results. This is due to the samples (reference panel) they are comparing a person against is different for each company. So just know that her percentage of various ethnicities are just estimates and that her 60/40 mix will be +/- 5% or so. The countries can and will change wildly over time and between tests. Quick example: My highest percentage ethnicity on various companies are Scotland 30%, Ireland 54%, England 40%. On Ancestry alone my highest percentage ethnicity has been Scandinavian, Irish, England, and now Scotland. There all in the same region, but my actual ancestry is Southern England 38% and Ireland 25% for the highest percentages. In any case, take some of this with a grain of salt. Its interesting, but it doesn't change anything. You are all still you no matter what any test says.
Thanks for sharing Stephen. This is really informative information. You're so right at the end of the day these test don't change anything we are who we are despite the test results. Thanks so much for watching!
@@josevasquez4080 Exactly, since black Americans are mixed with black and white the child of 2 black Americans can come out any shade of black. Melanin is not an indicator of percentages, I'm 71% black but my sister is dark while I'm brown.
Your children are beautiful and adorable. Test your daughter on @t too. Ancestry does not list ethnicity less than 1%. Ancestry listed then removed all my ethnicities that are less than 1%: Baltic, Iberian, Asian, Native American and North Africa. They are listed on 23andMe. Some of my Asian DNA comes from Indonesia via Madagascar. Found cousins from Madagascar. Small amounts of DNA are part of your ancestral heritage.

How old was Jasmine when she spit in the vile? because I want to do this to my newborn but, I may have to wait till she's 3 months were she's drooling alot...
The issue is that the "east asian" eyes are actually capsian eyes. Just like you have neatherdals known for straight hair, coloured eyes etc. Capsians are also known for those eyes. The issue is that capsians first originated in africa. As such alot of the very old tribes in africa like the Khoisan, nilotics as well as some african tribes in central and west africa have those eyes. Capsians left africa and moved to asia and intermixed. That's why some asians, especially east asians have that eye feature. East asians have that feature because of their capsian ancestors. East asian race begun with capsian africans or capsian africans intermixed with neatherdals. In short east Asians got that feature from africans. So, that feature is actually originally african. Only issue is that most african tribes today came from Eurasia so the capsian features are lost in most africans. However in the very old african tribes who lived either very north or very south of the continent and didn't leave the continent, the capsian look still remains. Hence why you have Khoisans(south Africans) and nilotics who are mainly south sudanese and its environs maintaining the capsian features. Because south sudan was considered part of north Africa for centuries.
You all have a beautiful family. I thought that with your daughter being a female, the test only shows the mothers DNA. And to find both parents DNA the father or a brother has to be tested. So your daughters DNA results only are that of her mother ? So everything you all just read is her mothers family DNA?
We've heard so many reviews on how to do the DNA and who should be tested first etc. We are going to have the rest of the family tested so we can take a better look at the results as a whole.
Maybe because the father wants to be sure mom didn't step out with a Eurasain. "HE's been wondering since she was born". Testing one kid is extremely suspcious, especially if the parents haven't even had themselves tested. If they had tested themselves, they would have automatically known Jasmine's DNA, but the father would have still questioned it. Mom is pretending not to be annoyed and dad is relieved.
This video was in my suggestions so I’ve never seen this family before, but it’s pretty obvious the child looks like dad... has some of mommy’s bone structure (especially the nose) but looks like dad. Mommy has slightly slanted eyes so since daughter has the bone structure but dad’s features, that made her eyes appear more slanted hence you thinking Asian lol. My background is Jamaican too (but i’m born and raised in Canada) but I have 22% euro and 6% south Asian along with my African.. my daughter’s dad is Panamanian and she came out with 42% African, 31% euro, 20% native, 4% south Asian and 3% North African (Iranian etc). What’s interesting both her dad and I did the DNA kits (23andMe) and it shows exactly where our daughter got amounts of DNA from... and even though my euro is mostly British and Irish, I passed down 6% Spanish/Portuguese which added on to the big chunk of Spanish/Portuguese from dad. Wow I wrote a novel. anyway beautiful fam!
It is fascinating that modern science can provide an accurate snapshot of our ancestry. Your Jasmine and the generations to come will be more cosmopolitan than anyone in your family's history. And how's this for a bonus...Jasmine looks 100% indigenous Canadian!
Greg your wife may have european DNA as well. If she has a Trinidad, jamaican heritage, there's likely european and indian connection. That's similar for lots of caribbean nations. Asian could be indian part. She should also not dismiss the venezuela link. Caribbean connection as well.
You each should do one. Your wife is not just African or Jamaican. I’m sure there is some European mixture for her as well. You’re clear about jasmine; but, you’re guessing about yourselves.

Family names tell you where at least, but never mixture. Both of y'all have white and ils say Eastern Europe for dad, maybe west Asian/Turkish. Based n the child's look, asian?
I love your channel, you are such a good looking couple, and Jasmine is absolutely gorgeous. If I didn't know you were her parents, I would say she actually looks like a Hispanic from the Caribbean Spanish speaking islands such as Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, it would really be interesting to see both of your results to compare to Jasmine... I did mine and my results were 66% Iberian which comprise Portugal and Spain, 2% Italy, 13% Senegal, 2% Mali, 1% Nigeria, 10% Middle Eastern and North African, and 6% native American...

All the children are beautiful , remember everyone came from Adam and Eve ultimately. This part is after finding out, you know there's a tribe/people in Africa that are light complexion and have asian looking eyes. There's lots of black people who has very strong Asian features. I am quite perplexed by that. Very interesting video. You've encouraged me to do a test also 😊
Hey Pam! It is very perplexing lol the rest of the family is going to do the test and let's see if anyone else has something that didn't come up on Jasmine's DNA profile. Yes do it! If you do, keep us in the loop and let us know what your DNA profile looks like- we'd love to know 😊💕
Remember dna is only a small snap
Shot of what we know from only a few thousand years ago. We have even more thousands of years of dna that maybe we haven't been able to classify yet.
@@VashtiPerry Yes, we agree! You are absolutely right!
If you look to the father he's got the same Chinese eyes that's why both children got it 🙂
All people come from Africa. There are indigenous Africans who look very Asian and their names even sound very Japanese.
She is literally a mixture of both physically 🥺
🥰
Chances are she does have European ancestry since any person in America ,who has been here for generations has mixed ancestry. The daughter really is 50 50. So cool. I was adopted and my sons all did this. It really is amazing. We knew I was mixed but I look Spanish. Turns out I'm alot of different things. One of my boys stayed on ancestry and because he did we've found my birth mother's family. She has passed away but I now have a relationship with my sister and cousins and aunts. I'll be meeting her for the first time very soon.
She is 59/41. Mom probably has 10 percent Euro. Otherwise it would be 50/50.
Great for you ..one ❤
@lisa pphoenix thank you so much for sharing. What an amazing story. We wish you a the best🥰♥️
I love how excited he is
are there links to the rest of the fam's test?
Her results would indicate the father is 100% European and the mother is 80% African and 20% European. You should do 23andMe to get your haplogroups and there is a way to get the health report stuff for free with the 23andMe raw data.
Yes! We are definitely going to look into testing our DNA lol it's a must now. Thank you for the recommendation we will check it out!
@@PerfectlyBlended You will have to upload the raw data to [Wegene com/en]. Once done if you switch to the Chinese language version of the site (need a browser that will translate) you'll have access to health report info that isn't available on the English site. I just found this out recently myself. If you (or anyone reading this) already had an AncestryDNA test you can upload that raw data to [cladefinder yseq net] or [ytree morleydna com] to get paternal haplotypes (males only). Both correctly predicted my yDNA as E-U174. Wegene will also do this with Ancestry data, but it gave me my maternal macrogroup as well. It correctly predicted L3 before I got a 23andMe test which confirmed it as L3e2a1b1. Dots removed b/c links tend to trigger automatic deletion of comments by YT.

Thank you Joe!💕😊
Jasmins oriental look is actually from Benin and Togo..... my family look oriental from JA but we found no Asia at all .... further research shows that Benin and Togo people have the same or similar features to orientals... you could run her dna results through gedmatch we picked up beringian dna which is Eskimo aka oriental dna .... and is a free more specific dna than any dna company
So interesting thank you for the info we will definitely look into it!
Your children are 100% beautiful!!!!!
Thank you Tim!🥰
Aloha from Hawai'i! You might never find my response, but I'll comment anyway. You asked what viewers thought about Jasmine's background, given her appearance. My immediate reaction was that she looks like our relative. Our extended family includes a massive mix of Pacific Islanders, whites, and Asians stretching back generations. This was a fun video. It's inspired me to get our grandkids tested, too.
Hi Manu! Thank you for your response! We can totally see that! This is fun, we get the opportunity to learn about different areas of the world. Thank you for watching!🥰
This guy is such a gentle giant..am intimidated and assured at the same time.
Lol awww🥺💕
So Jasmine has some Cornish blood,Cornwall is a Celtic nation like Scotland but it is possible that could come from mum as lots of cornishman settled in the West Indies when the tin industry collapsed
Yes, we have to connect the pieces to the puzzle and get the rest of the family tested to see what they have in their DNA. This stuff is so interesting!
That was most interesting! Nice!
Soo interesting! Thanks for watching Marlyn💕
You guys shuld do YOUR ancestry DNA Test. That would be interesting.
Hi Deborah! We are abosulety going to test our DNA 🙂
@@PerfectlyBlended Cool ^^
Those backhand springs were amazing as someone interested in gymnastics
Thank you! 😊
She doesn't look Asian at all. I see more of the dads features passed to her.
She gets that she looks like her dad a lot 😊
The Russian and Eastern European is probably where she gets the Asian looking traits.
Siberian and other ethnic groups since not all Russians are strictly white European. Slavic is not Asian It would be more Asian if she had Native American than Eastern European. The Russian region would be Asiatic Russia and could include imclude Buryatian and other ethnicities.
Oh I just love this channel 🥰! All of ur children r so beautiful to me! Very interesting content! God bless u & ur family!😇⚘
Thanks so much for watching Nichelle!🥰
Ahh she’s Scottish , just like me 🏴 your daughter is beautiful 💕

what is the background of Amaya's father? the nationality of amaya's grandparents
Hi Katty, they are all Jamaicans 🇯🇲
Why did he call Jasmine "white"?? Jasmine doesn't look white at all.
She has color. She definitely looks ethnic.. She looks maybe mediterranean, Semitic, or Latino, with some African mixture.
I enjoyed this one....very interesting.
Right? So interesting lol Thanks for watching Anjala💗
I've had a couple of updates from Ancestry. It's a lot different from the first analysis.
Ditto. I've also done a MyHeritage DNA test but that has never been updated.
That's good to know! Thank you😊
You guys are awesome love your work ….you have your family down packed so much love….
Well needless to say I was a little skeptical, but I did it, and it showed detailed info of regions that I knew I had a bloodline from and surprises for regions I was not expecting.... and would you believe they sent me a tree and a note showing my cousin’s name stating that we were indeed first cousin’s 😀😅 I was shocked and pleasantly surprised, the kit gives actual results.... great video, thanks guys, thanks for always brightening my day👍
Oh wow! Interesting story and thanks for sharing! Greg and I will most definitely being doing our Ancestry DNA. Wow we didn't realize you could find out so much! Thanks for watching! 🥰
No wonder Greg loves the outdoor life . The Scots are known for trekking the mountains as a sport.
When i watched their video" how we met " ,i said straight away " I bet he's from Germany " 😂 straight after, he said his father is from Germany 😂
I said, I was right,i saw Germany in him!!😂😂
Where can i find that ancestry test?, I would like to buy one 🤔
Hey Kira, we used ancestry.ca, which is their Canadian site; however, if you're outside of Canada, the page has links to the sites for other countries
Jazzman has always looked like her father and more white her long hair says it all. I agree with the results being 60% white Same to the boy a little bit of his mummy looks.
God Bless your family
Thanks for watching!💗
What if some of that 60% is actually from mom as well. We don't know her dna...
@@VashtiPerry We are going to check our DNA so we soon will find out!
I didn't see any resembles of Jas and Danny until I saw Greg's baby picture. it was like looking at identical triplets
First Time Here!
Hi Shasha! 👋
Welcome 😊
@@PerfectlyBlended Ur Welcome Also!😉 😘🇺🇸💪🏾💕👌🏻👌🏾💯

No not yet we plan to though!
Some of her European genes could be from mother.
We all have to get tested. We plan to soon!
👍🏼♥️♥️ At least she will know her ethnicities background as she grows up also knowing her family too.
Yes! Exactly! 🥰
@@PerfectlyBlended ♥️
Because they continue to research the results will changes over time. My results changes resulted in accurate matches with my siblingS.
Dad, dark black WOMEN produce pale, biracial kids very frequently. You really had never seen that?
Most like she has European admixture if she is afro American.
We will check it out! Thanks!
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Have a blessed day, brothers and sisters in Christ!

My son is mixed African and European he is 50/50. He wants to take a DNA test but I won't let him until he is an adult.
He's probably not 50/50
She's beautiful! I love her hair.
Aww, thank you! 🥰 Jasmine loves her hair too 💕
How old was Jasmine when she spit in the vile? because I want to do this to my newborn but, I may have to wait till she's 3 months were she's drooling alot...
Jasmine was 5 years old 🥰
I think if Jasmine is 60% European and 40% African, Chantel is probably around 80% African and 20% European.
Hmm... That could very well be... I'll have to get tested myself to find out!
Beautiful family, beautiful video!!
Aww, thank you so much, Kim 🥰❤️

Lol he knows!
Will mom get tested every one want to see your Heritage ? Absolutely beautiful it inspired me to get one thank you
What's the point. She's a divestor and them mindset of coconuts is all that matters.
The African countries are broken into so many bits because many unrelated tribes came over

What a beautiful couple, what a beautiful family, what a beautiful little baby girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awww thank you!🥰
I was thinking WHY are they not doing everybody?! Sooo exciting.
We definitely will be getting the rest of the family DNA tested 😊
You all have a beautiful family. I thought that with your daughter being a female, the test only shows the mothers DNA. And to find both parents DNA the father or a brother has to be tested. So your daughters DNA results only are that of her mother ? So everything you all just read is her mothers family DNA?
We've heard so many reviews on how to do the DNA and who should be tested first etc. We are going to have the rest of the family tested so we can take a better look at the results as a whole.
Ancestry does an Autosomal test, which shows results for mother and father.
Why did one child's DNA get tested and not the parents?
We tested Jasmine because she looks the most different from all of us. We all will be getting tested soon! Thanks for watching💕
Thanks for sharing Heidi. Yes Jasmime has features from both of us. Genetics are pretty interesting!

He mentioned that he believes his wife has European DNA as well in this video. She probably have somewhere around 20 percent European DNA.

Jasmine looks Asian! Beautiful little girl. Isn't it wonderful and fascinating how GOD creates each of us and what makes us special. All the children are beautiful , remember everyone came from Adam and Eve ultimately. This part is after finding out, you know there's a tribe/people in Africa that are light complexion and have asian looking eyes. I'm fascinated by genetics myself, I think we're all mixed pretty much. My great great grandmother on my mom's side was black and raised by Cherokee in Virginia, married my great great grandfather in West Virginia and moved to KY, built a home and raised their family there. I have 2 brothers, they took DNA tests and one is almost 1/3 African, and the other has no African that shows up, I haven't taken a test.
Thanks for your kind words Michael and sharing your story! So interesting! Do you think you ever test your DNA?
