I just got done swapping my engine for a used one and I think this video tells me exactly what to look for. I’ve had my hood popped open while working on this and not latched and it’s been raining a good amount here in California recently. I’ll be looking at this first!

I have a 2004 trailblazer with 230000 miles on it and I'm also having a misfire, but it's intermittent and that's one thing I'll have to check is for moisture. Thanks

This is a common problem with these vehicles. Replace the seal under the hood where your windshield meets the hood.

That's the sense I'm getting about this issue. Do you happen to know the part number for the seal?

Hello sir, my battery is between 13 and 14. Does it cause problems for my car? My car vibrates especially with the AC on Thank you, for your reply

I’ve heard of guys replacing the VVT solenoid and the misfires went away. Have you checked compression on the cylinders? You could also check for vacuum leaks. Best of luck👍

There are probably more than a dozen things that could cause P0300 code. Did you change the spark plugs?

There's a few sensors that become fouled and fail with old age and need replacing or at least cleaning.
They are really great engines but cannot withstand a lack of astute maintenance.
