    I noticed you are running your Livescope off of the front of your boat now. Curious, why you made the change?

      Now that I’m not guiding, I can change single, bigger fish and it is definitely the most efficient way to do that and be hands free!

    This is incredible. I haven't dialed in my Livescope Plus for open water fishing in forward mode. I have the ice bundle, and really only use it in winter. But I just bought a pole mount for my John boat and I'm going to try and use my Livescope in my videos going forward. You inspire me brother. Keep em coming.

    I use a lot of brown/purple/red baits if fish are a bit tough to bite.. more white when they are biting good.. also depends on clarity.
    If ur looking for a reel id reccomend a vanford 4000 .. bigger spool doesnt weigh much more.. faster line retrieve.. a 3000 isnt much bigger then a 2000.. esp for shimano.

    Are you finding the big fish are off on their own vs. the smaller fish that are schooled together?

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  Місяць тому

      Big fish area definitely not in tight groups. Usually in the same general area of each other but not in a “school” necessarily. Tight Pods of fish are usually eater sized fish

    It looks like you were running a quick change clip on your swim baits? Not direct tie-up, is that something you can only get away with on Rainy?

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  Місяць тому +1

      Good catch! Actually, I rarely do that. That is an old clip and I was getting some underwater footage one day and was quick changing between bait. I almost always tie direct!

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  Місяць тому +2

      Agreed! I will often set my depth range at 30-35 so I’m tempted to target those deeper fish. If the fisheries are effected it will be because of anglers not the technology
