hey! very cool to see you post this. i was just about to go on reddit to ask a question on how i can achive something similar. so my problem right now is, i am trying to do this sweep with a rectangle and im not quite sure on how i get the edges aligned. when i hit the option: profile alignment, it shows in the prediction exactly what i want, but then it wont let me do the operation. maybe you can help out! Thanks a lot!
thx. about that question, I think reddit is really better because you can share an image of the situation. I'm in that Onshape community and can have a look.
That was impressive. I am just getting into doing 3D printing and looking for an inexpensive (sub 1 million dollar subscription fee) to do hobbies prints with. Very nice flow and thank you for not cutting any parts out. Deffinetly subbed and gonna watch your videos. Even if they aren't in my related software, the work flow is solid.

@@cademist alright thanks i will post my question there
I basically did the same thing as you showed in the video, but the sketch i used for the sweep resembles a rectangle, not a circle
@@alexchrome10 I just swapped my 8mm diameter circle for a square 8x8 with that dimension and it works
@@cademist Thanks for your guidance on reddit! Problem solved!

Wow, thanks!
Do you have any featuresciript for multi functional variable pitch helix like Solidworks?
That's a great idea-I do not really know if there is something around, but you can have a look yourself at available scripts!
Sir, can you make a curve helix?
there is a feature script "3dcurve" which does just that!
