Booking for Delhi-Leh route-
1. Online booking is available from Delhi to Manali. Tickets will be extended to Keylong in the bus itself.
2. At Keylong bus stand counter, tickets will be extended to Leh. So you can reach Keylong via any other bus as well and get your ticket to Leh from Keylong bus stand.
Booking for Leh-Delhi route-
1. Tickets will be booked by conductor at Leh bus stand one day prior to departure. Online booking isn’t available because of unpredictable weather conditions on the route.
2. The bus reaches Keylong by 6-6:30 pm. There is a connecting bus running to Chandigarh if you want to leave for Manali/Chandigarh same evening.
3. Leh-Delhi bus leaves from Keylong at 10:30 am next morning. This service is available to book online.
COVID protocol-
1. RTPCR report is mandatory while travelling to Leh and will be checked at Sarchu and Upshi checkposts.

This is a very well explained and video-graphed vlog. The video has very good resolution, clear, stable and good sound. I can say it is just incredible, especially the way how it has been shoot, the way the landscapes are captured… I enjoyed it fully. Thank you.
By the way, remember there use to be a very good nice, a narrow tarcol road stretched between Sarchu to all the way long to Gataloop, but now there seems to be no road at all after Sarchu for so many kms other than just driving through the thick unhealthy dusty patches from all directions…. Perhaps its a new project for a new road but I question why this small and narrow tarcol road has been all taken off before finishing the new road. Such questions need to be put to the Central Government for doing such unorganised and unhealthy planning…..

Between Sarchu and Gataloops- I was told they are making a new road around this stretch and this one is temporary, but it’s quite risky bcoz it spans upto many kms. At times, there is no visibility ahead because of dust and still I have seen people driving their SUV’s like crazy.

LATEST UPDATE ON HRTC’s LEH SERVICES-
Manali-Leh Deluxe bus service has been suspended. Delhi-Leh Ordinary bus is operational till 15 September.
IMPORTANT-
From 14th August, HRTC has started a new Deluxe service on Manali-Leh route. The bus will depart at 5:00 am from both sides and travel time will be 15-16 hours approximately.
Fare will be ₹929/- for one way journey. This bus service will run on alternate days.
In addition to this bus, HRTC Delhi-Leh ordinary bus (shown in the video) is running daily as per schedule. The ordinary bus however takes a night halt at Keylong; the new Deluxe bus will be a Non-stop service.
There was one bus being run by HPTDC also..is it the same one?
@@MSav1988 No. HPTDC one is different. HPTDC actually had a whole package including stay at Keylong but they didn't resume their service this year.

मैं १९९८ से २००० तक कारगिल में पोसटिड था। उस समय १९९९ में अपनी पत्नी और ५ साल की छोटी सी बेटी के साथ बस द्वारा कारगिल से लेह होते हुए मनाली पहुंचे थे। आप की इस वीडियो ने मुझे २१ साल पहले की याद दिला दी। सचमुच में यह एक बहुत ही रोमांचक व खूबसूरत तथा साथ में थका देने वाला सफर था। सरचू में आर्मी के एक अफसर ने हमें अपने टेंट में ले जाकर खाना खिलाया था।
राधे राधे जी। मैंने 1998 से 2002तक शिमला से लेह यात्रा की है। उस समय ये बस मनाली से 7 बजे चलती थी और केलान्ग में 1430 बज पहुँचाती थी। दूसरे दिन केलान्ग 0400बजे चलती थी। उस समय यह सड़क तंग थी।

बहुत दिनों से इस बस के बारे में खोज रहा था । कई बार इस बस को दिल्ली बाई पास वाले रूट पर देखा तो हैरानी हुई कि इतने लंबे रूट पे भी बस चलती है । फिर मजनू का टीला जहां सारी बसे halt करती हैं वहीं पर ड्राइवर से बात हुई तब उसने सारी detail बताई । तब ये सिर्फ गर्मियों में ही चलती थी । करीब 12- 14 साल पुरानी बात है। भाई और ललित जी का बहुत शुक्रिया ।

Excellent video and the way you narrate is Superb... and by Gods Grace all the Bus Drivers and conductors and your 15 to 16 hours journey with them passing all no vegetation routes until lay😳... Oh my God they are your own family man.... 🙏🏻.... So warm feelings I myself got I felt so comfortable and safe with them then imagine how you all must have felt safe with the Drivers Saab and co-passengers and all the Indian Army Jawan Trucks passing by.. Wow and all of us also saw our Jawans playing cricket there😳 and three Jawans killed by a human eater and bus conductor comes under his own bus and dies.... Felt very very sad.... thats why I always say..... We Indians are a family this warmth and apnapan and in Kannada we say aatmeeyate roughly in English its the safe bonding and closeness..... I dint see in other places.... I Love my India ☺🌷🌿🙏🏻
