During that year Metallica played some amazing shows! Too bad there are so few videos available or complete. Thanks for bringing us this great show man!!! Good to have you back!
Insane that there’s no 1990 shows on livemetallica yet. This show is my number one candidate for a SBD! I’d happily settle for Zwolle too though lol Is the FLAC linked in the description the raw materials or the speed corrected improved dynamics version? I’d like to have the speed corrected one if possible pls
Awesome set list. I still have my "In vertigo you will be" Europe '90 tour t-shirt. Dates on the back are: Wed 16th May Zwolle. 17th Dortmund. 19th Hannover. 20th Leiden. 21st Paris. 23rd London. 25th Birmingham. 26th Glasgow.
Decent restoration. Probably the original is barely usable. Perhaps there is some kind of AI for audio to restore some of the lost frequencies. Maybe in the future this could be "remastered" even further. Thank you for the effort so far, its a shame we don't have better recording, since this is was great time for Metallica concerts.
@@radiovanalicaFair enough. What I mean is that at some point the source, even the best one, will be limited because of the way its recorded and at that point the only way to improve is to "invent" what is not there to fill in the blanks. Lately there has been some decent tools that can do this, and can be very useful in restoration of damaged or old audio. But they are trained to be for speech not music per se. There are some tools like iZotope RX than could help with manual restoration but it requires a lot of manual work. Maybe as the tools get more advance it will be less work and you or someone else can revisit this video. I download it so I'll try to play with it in the future to see if it can be improved. Cheers! And thanks for the video concert. Appreciate it.

Damn shame no footage of DIO’s set circulates

Thank you! (and FYI, I don't used AI for the audio, just replaced with a better source)

1990 .. the year before ( to me personally) the best 2 tours
When all hell break loose haha
What a band.. unbelievable
Was lucky enough to be at the Glasgow date a few days later
I was at the Birmingham show the night before that.
Pretty much the best set list ever@@Grizzly01-vr4pn
Just got to ask, what is the font for the text at the beginning of the video?
www.ffonts.net/Jaymz.font
@@radiovanalica thanks a lot! I've been searching for this one for a long time
Man there"s no so much footage of the 1990
Little things is "in the light" from dat year
Is the first time they played Shortest Straw live?
nope but almost! this is the first time ua-cam.com/video/MPapwG-8ZPU/v-deo.html
They played it on their secret gig 9 days earlier, but that's it I'm pretty sure
I was there. Front row. Remember me?
3:26 someone threw a bottle and hit Jason from what it looks like😮😂
And I think he flipped them off for it too😂
wtf is "this kid's"?
Poor footage...
