Yeah I get what you mean by "this type of group". Since they've all debuted for years and experienced, they don't really need a leader to actually discipline them or guide them through idol-life. Baekhyun literally made his younger brothers laugh the whole Mtopia series, while Kai picks him up when he goes out of control. Meanwhile, in EXO, sometimes D.O can pacify Baek. (but not all the time) LOL.
He's the reason why Taemin and Taeyong are more confident and happier now cuz he let them realize that it's okay to be naughty sometimes and no need to be pressure all the time. Look at the them now, they're not afraid to spoil anymore 😂
