El Car Wash - South Kendall Location (Miami, FL)

For a modern style tunnel wash, this place was excellent. It's very expensive, but if you regularly go to places like this you probably get the membership and really get your money's worth. Not to mention the second highest subscription is only $30, which is a great deal. You likely only need to get ceramic sealant once every other month or so, hence the premium price tag. Anyway, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good tunnel wash, it definitely gets the job done.

I cancelled my membership with them today. After having to replace a bulging tire, I noticed all 4 of my wheels had curb rash. I've never hit a curb nor scratched the wheels on anything and went crazy trying to figure out how this happened. I'm pretty sure it's from the conveyor mechanism El Car Wash uses to move the car forward. I have an Acura ILX, compact sedan but have major curb rash and used to go to El Car Wash almost every day since I had the unlimited membership

How does the tire shin thingy work? I mean, a clean car needs clean shiny tires otherwise its like wearing a tuxedo with dirty shoes...

Generally there’s a tire cleaner spray that comes out of the thing on the bottom while at the same time the brushes scrub the wheels.

Expensive, for a wash by a machine, been here a few times given to distance. However, with all said .. hand wash works best for me.

Believe it or not, not really. I’ve never really found one. The only place I have ever seen is some really old place in cutler bay, and a place in wynwood that I’m not a fan of. Other than that, not really anything.
