I live in Friuli. You are a big surprise. I didn’t know “vini friulani” were known even around the world. Usually just the big ones are known but there are so many hidden traesures in italy. Good job!

@@drmatthewhorkey I have lived many years in the “Friuli collinare” not far from Ramandolo hills. Now near Pordenone. Thank you for you work.
Personally I like red wines from a “cantina” in the Carso called Castelvecchio. Very good Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tokai, now known as friulano, is imo the best white wine i have ever drunk. 1 euro for a glass, but to really enjoy it at its best, you have to drink it in the friuli.
