4Kids voices were better in my opinion. My rank: 1. Chatta, I think some view her as annoying because she’s talkative, but she’s actually very positive. I think she’s the most useful because she pushed Flora in talking to Helia, especially “Boys don’t know how to do these things, help him!” The Rai line “You trying to give me an ulcer?!” I still don’t get what that means. Also yes the part she solved the riddle was cute, I was actually laughing at her first answer while everyone is thinking “Seriously, this isn’t the time for joking” She’s always been my favorite 2. Digit, I always felt she was more emotional than Tecna and helping her in understanding her feelings about Timmy. She also has one of the best designs 3. Piff, I know she mostly sleeps, but she’s so cute. I also love (in 4Kids at least) Leila was kinda like a mom to her, I actually miss whenever Piff would sleep in her hoodie. She also helped her whenever she got nightmares about her royal life 4. Amore, she believes there’s a soulmate for everyone, including Lord Darkar, not to mention she supports gayness 5. Lockett, personally I felt she was deliberately made to be the most useful/powerful of the pixies because she is the only one with a staff, and she can find exits/entrances, portals, and any living thing. I get she’s supposed to be the opposite of Bloom by being a scaredy-cat, but it is a tad annoying sometimes 6. Tune, while Musa is my favorite fairy, unfortunately Tune doesn’t really do anything and tends to act stuck up, I get she’s trying to be a lady, but she doesn’t really have any actual powers except maybe cleaning? I actually didn’t mind at first Cherie replacing her, but Cherie is more annoying to me 7. Caramel, she actually gets waay more screentime in Poppixie, and she’s actually really sweet, kinda a bummer she doesn’t have superstrength in the main series. 8. Cherie, I didn’t mind her replacing Tune at first because she can control weather, but that changed when in S7 and especially in Poppixie she’s actually kinda moody and hotheaded at times. I’m getting tired of Musa getting the annoying sidekicks HM: Glim and Zing- Glim is so adorable and I’m kinda sad she never got more screentime, considering she was supposed to be at Alphea because she was one of the captured ones and her ability to glow is cute, though I wish there was more to it, say she can make anyone happy? Zing should’ve bonded with Roxy, seeing she’s the pixie of bugs and she’d have a blast cosplaying almost anything on Earth. 2nd HM Jolly: she’s really cute, and I would pair her with Francis (joker fairy) or Mirta. She’s in a way similar to Lockette that she’s a bit of a scaredy-cat, but not that much
Supposedly it was a stupid reference to the spinoff Pop Pixie. It only ran for 2 seasons and used two new pixies Caramel and Cherie a lot more than half of the original 6. Digit stupidly got turned into a boy, assumably for boys watching the show, but he doesn’t appear very much. Same with Piff and Tune. S6 was when Rainbow was taking the soft reboot of Winx Club more seriously, meaning the show was going to pander to both OG fans from the 2000s and new kids getting into the newer seasons. Unfortunately Tecna and Musa are some of the least popular fairies for kids, so they became the victims of Rainbow ruining their characters more by changing their pixies. I heard Caramel and Cherie were really popular with kids when the spinoff was being aired, so they chose to give Tecna and Musa more “popular” pixies to pander to the kids. Unfortunately it never says anywhere in the show why their pixies changed or even acknowledge it. So it really pissed off a lot of fans, especially Musa and Tecna.
The actual reason is because they wanted to make the poppixie spin-off canon,so they retconned both shows in multiple ways,and still failed to somehow make it logical. Season 6 basically retcons Tune and Digit's existence in season 2,it was always Cherie and Caramel,or they attempted to make it like that atleast. Big mistake,you should never try to make a complete different universe series canon to the main one.
@@TheShape45 I mean, the newer seasons have contradicted quite a few things from the OG series. Like why they don’t use Believix in S8 when they’re on Earth or what the heck happened to all the Earth fairies and especially Roxy, who isn’t even a background character anymore. Or the worst one imo, is completely keelhauling Icy’s backstory from being a cold hearted witch hungry for power to being a former princess (and possibly a fairy) who was actually a good person who lost her sister and kingdom to a random shaman witch, despite nothing is fixed in S8
