It doesn't matter where they move the trial, the whole country knows about him.
It's sickening that they drag the grieving families' hearts through the mud like this instead of giving them some sort of immediate closure. So awful.

Sy Ray is a consummate professional and wouldn’t risk his career and reputation if he had any doubt BK wasn’t innocent. Touch dna means nothing it basically said German ancestry. There were 5 people seen running from the scene that night. Linda lane audio at 220am paints a loud picture of what went down. They tried to paint a “lone incel” narrative and it backfired. BK has zero connection to these people. Connecting to the Cell tower 12 times means nothing. They tried to paint that like he was outside the house 12 times. He wasn’t, he was just on that tower. Billy boy is getting nervous he has no case. Frat and MPD did this.
Its all legal posturing. One thing that's of note and that's the prosecution's reluctance to share information. This means that they have a weak case. What's essentially going on is there's evidence in this case that, while not necessarily exonerates the defendant, does create reasonable doubt in their theory of murder. This is what all the legal wrangling is about. Its a weak case with a capital murder charge. It'll be a hung jury...
@@tula1433Sly Ray practices junk science. It's been stated by the scientific community. He's not a reliable source, and Kohberger will be found guilty because the evidence they have against him is too strong.

If he's innocent his life is already devastated...if he's guilty...there's a good chance he's gonna get away with it. Without a doubt the case needs moved! I'm from small towns. I live in one now and there's absolutely no way he gets a fair trial...small towns EVERYONE knows.

We are not aware of an unknown amount of evidence/information. There is no way you can say for sure he would get away with it. Keep in mind that AT is doing all she can to potty a certain reality in order to sway public opinion. It's pretty obvious and any defense attorney would do the same thing. It doesn't mean she's right. We have to wait until trial. Everything is speculation for now.
BK will have a dozen law suits to file. He won't ever have to work.
Where the trial held is not important. Where was he at the time of the murders?

The defense wants to amp up how much is known publicly in the area. So down the road if he is convicted, they can say there was too much public bias and be the basis for an appeal.

Is it just me or is Kohberger being treated like some kind of 'celebrity'? Is it because he was a criminal justice major? Does the justice community treat one of their students with preferential treatment? I find the whole pampering of Kohberger disgusting. He gets to live, his victims haven't been given that privilege.

The trial should have been moved shortly after the first request was made. Things would be settled by now. The delays are because the prosecution is deliberately slowing things down

The prosecution should have turned over everything the defense asked for as reasonably fast as it could. But it kept going to the courts to say that the defense wasn't properly entitled to this or that. What that meant in the longer run was when the "clock" is reset everytime the prosecution doesn't deliver what the defense is entitled to.

Convicted killer, James Curtis Leonard (40), a Moscow man who was charged with second-degree murder for a 2007 shooting death was sentenced to 15 years in prison in May 2009 for shooting 25-year-old Moscow man Tyler Pace Lee in 2007. The shooting occurred during an argument at Leonard’s home near Genesee. He pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. Later, he was released on probation. Then, he continued to be what he is, a criminal, so he was sentenced again in August 2023 for a domestic violence charge in Latah County District Court. James Curtis Leonard was subsequently found guilty of a felony domestic battery charge and a misdemeanor battery charge. But, Judge John Judge, only sentenced him to three years of probation with counseling and treatment for domestic violence, substance use and mental health. Well, after such a ridiculous sentence buy Judge Judge, Leonard was arrested in December after he struck and injured a woman and a juvenile girl at a residence on Palouse River Drive. The two females were transported to Gritman for their injuries. Bryan Christopher Kohberger case requires a strong judge and a strong prosecution. With all that has happened so far, including the unbelievable demolition of the crime scene (the house), Judge Judge has demonstrated that he is lackluster and a threat himself for the justice of Kaylee, Maddy, Xana and Ethan.

I just don't understand how defense attorneys can sleep at night defending these creeps. This case is really taking a long time to get to trial, a defense tactic I'm sure. By the time this case goes to trial it will be past 3 years since the murders, what a crappy justice system. I hope he gets the max penalty possible.

I agree, this is exactly what the judge ordered for the Delphi trial instead of a change of venue. Keep the trial in the Moscow jurisdiction within the community where the crimes happened.

That's patently wrong. The prosecution is the one playing dirty by withholding evidence. If you read between the lines, this means that there's evidence that creates reasonable doubt in their theory of the murder and the shenanigans are b/c they don't wanna turn this over and blow their case. I've always believed that this was a very weak case and I have serious doubts that the State will get a unanimous verdict for the death penalty...
Are you saying BK was not involved in the crime? Or are you saying that the prosecution can’t prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt? Guilty perpetrators have walked free in the past, notably O. J. Simpson. If BK did it once, he could do it again. Anyone who could do what happened at 1122 King Road should never walk free. But it ain’t over til it’s over. A jury will decide the verdict, not public opinion. Hopefully, the jury will make its decision purely on the evidence presented at trial. Justice for the victims who brutally lost their lives.
Chat Max, have you considered that there might be a legitimate reason for the prosecution to not turning over what the defense wants. Perhaps they don’t have it. Maybe it’s the FBI that’s causing the delay. You’re speculating based on your bias.

I said from the beginning because of the INCOMPETENCE of the FORENSIC TEAM contaminating the crime scene and 20 people walking through before it was secured and they refusing professional, experienced help Kohberger would walk because HE HAS RIGHTS and police corrupted a crime scene and investigation.
