Its a very popular airport simply because it always tends to run smoothly, and I much prefer it to my next nearest airport which is LGW. The only disadvantage with LCY is, that if its foggy, flights cannot take off and land, as all flights have to be landed manually and not by automatic pilot, and there is also the added obstacle of the office blocks in the City of London to contend with, as well as the Shard at London Bridge.

An enjoyable and well made video. I have flown to AMS and FRA from LCY, which is a nice airport, similar to RTM in terms of size.

I can relate to the fog problems. The LCY flight from Rotterdam easily gets canceled or get massive slottime delays.
To be honest, its just as easy to fly to AMS and then get a fast train to RTM, which takes around 40 minutes.
