Great video Pan! Thank you. Such mixed emotions when Sid scored the golden goal. Being a US citizen it was heartbreaking, being a huge Penguins fan it was hard not to be happy for young Crosby. There was no doubt he was going to bury the puck as soon as you saw him coming off the bench.
Thanks! Yeah what a moment it was for us Canadians! I was watching the game and it was a nail biter! I jumped of joy and was tearing up when he had scored the gold medal clinching goal! He was already on his way to become one of the GOATS of hockey, but what a time that was for him with a Stanley Cup in 2009 and Olympic Gold Medal to go with it a few months later in winter of 2010! The next winter Olympics I have a feeling will be the best roster Canada has ever had, with the likes of McDavid, MacKinnon, Crosby, Bedard, Makar, the list goes on and on haha. But I predict a Canada vs USA final, as you guys also have a stacked team now!!
As a US citizen I recently saw Rocket Richard’s statue in front of the Olympic Center in Montreal on my first visit there. It is so sad to see how Canada has neglected this great city and I hope they learn to cherish and support Montreal as much as Toronto.
Hehe no this was a business trip to get some valuable sports cards for my investments. :) I was attending the Toronto Sport Card Expo, the biggest of its kind in Canada.
You have good taste. I have had newer 911s, but I ended up selling those for more 997.2 cars. And the Avs were my #1 team until the city I live in got our own team. Two weeks after I moved to Vegas, a friend who is a Roy fan dragged me to Denver for a week to watch his favorite player play. I still have Avs friends that I've made from several hockey message boards and we'd meet up when the Avs used to play the Kings in the Frozen Fury game at MGM. I was peeing at the urinal and someone behind me said nice jersey and it was Joe Sakic. I'm glad I wore his 96 starter jersey that year because I usually would wear my 01 Koho Foppa sweater.
That's bad ass! Grew up outside of Buffalo watching a lo of the Sabres, Leafs and Rangers. And of course the 80 Olympics. Great childhood memory, that one!
Thanks Pan, that was a quickie, but REALLY cool!! I've heard the trophy names, but didn't know what they represented - but now I do. That was a fantastic tour. Thanks again.
Thank you for this video! The Hockey Hall of Fame is absolutely on my bucket list! What is your favorite part of History you get to see when you visit?
Yeah I love hockey. I have an insane hockey cards collection (high end stuff), hockey jersey collection, etc. I often go see games at the Bell Center (we attended 8 games last year with my brother, who is a die hard Habs fan, way more than I am). I wanted the Avalanche vs NYR in the finals, so both my teams got destroyed haha. I thought Edmonton would finally see McJesus win his first cup, but now it seams the Panthers are steam rolling over them! What's your favourite team?
@@PanTheOrganizer Thats good to hear. Mine is actually here in Finland playing in finnish Liiga a team called Kouvolan KooKoo. I went to few panthers and lightning games and I’m a lightning fan but you just can’t beat the atmosphere of a live game. Definitely would like to visit Canada as a hockey fan especially Quebec since we’ve had very good players from Quebec here in KooKoo (D’astous and Tardif).
Very cool! Yeah the majority of the Hall of Fame players are from Ontario and Quebec. Hockey is sooooo important in Canada. It's out nation's number one sport for sure.
Pam, I was shocked to see you do a video from the HHOF. Besides following you for your detail tips to keep my vehicles to your standard. The one thing you don’t know, I am a retired IIHF Offical. I officiated for 25-year, 18 World Championships,6 Olympics, and 6 Greater Quebec championships. If you are ever in NY area during hockey season, we should go to a NYR game
Wow good video. My son and I follow the Habs and we flew over from England in April so he could watch his first games live. He worships Arber Xhekaj and we had a blast in Montreal. Must be hell to keep cars clean on those roads and extreme weather shifts.
Always a great experience visiting the hockey hall of fame. I had the pleasure of meeting Yvan Cournoyer while playing at Cassie Campbell’s charitable hockey tournament in Calgary. A very special memory. Glad you had the opportunity to visit. An amazing place full of so much history 🇨🇦🫶😊
Ah man...when you walked by the Montreal seat section, I got a wiff of sitting in the last row of the old forum, with the pigeons lol. About 1986 ,watching the Canadien vs Minnesota north stars.lol Man I need to go to the hall of fame..
@PanTheOrganizer He was very good with the one timer shots. If you want to see something funny. Watch Brett Hull at the parade after the blues got the cup. He was plastered. Love the videos.
Pan, is it a coincidence that Richard, Howe, Hull and Bucyck all wore the #9? Oh...and Paul Kariya - a proud University of Maine Alum AND collegiate national champion.
I’ve been there, very cool. It was always my dream to play in the NHL one day, but when it was clear that was never going to happen, I went ahead and touched the cup at the HOF, it happened to be there when I was there lol. Still love the game and play weekly though.
As a Floridian, Bolts fan and a detailer, its nice to see you diversify your channel. Not a Panthers fan for obvious reaons, but you might want a vid on how to apply suncrean to the Stanley Cup. The Panthers play tough in all zones. Nice work, Pan. Go Bolts!
Thanks Zach! Yeah the Bolts had a crazy run the past years. But these two last years, it seems the Panthers are killing it. They will likely win their first cup this year. At least Floridians have two cup contending teams to pick from haha. Here in Montreal, we haven't seen a freaking cup since 1993!! :(
Thanks Artem! The Canucks were so good this year, it's unfortunate they had to lose to Edmonton. But now Edmonton is having their a** handed to them in the finals!
@@PanTheOrganizer As a suffering Canucks fan for the last 30 years this season was a breathe of fresh air. To say that they blew all the expectations away will be an understatement. As a saying goes, I'm smiling cause its happened. Next season can't start soon enough!
Yeah the Canucks had an insane season! I'm actually surprised Edmonton blew past them. But last season was a sign that the Canucks are getting to a spot where they will consistently be a top team. Especially if Pettersson actually starts scoring goals during the playoffs haha. I hate players that only rack up points in the regular season and do nothing in playoffs... Edmonton's top guys (McDavid and Draisaitl) at least were top point getters in the playoffs (except against Florida so far haha).
I see the jersey of my beloved Flyers- Bobby Clarke. I went to countless Flyers' games as a kid in the '70's. I was at the Flyers/Soviet game in '76. Phenomenal experience.
I was born in 1981, so didn't have a chance to witness that moment. But was the goal that was heard around the world? The building must have gone absolutely NUTS!
@@PanTheOrganizer Alas that was not the result. But I have a feeling the paper pushers will figure out that missing piece to get that cup 💪. It was an unreal year to be an Oilers fan

Amazing memorabilia Pan. Canadians treat their hockey like we do football.

I have to agree that Montreal is in pretty rough shape as of recent. And things don't seem to be improving.
Welcome to Toronto! Got time to get some detailing work in?!
