The yellow overalls were appropriate for a sporting event. Indria... Name calling is not nice...Its rude. Plus It doesn't get anyone anywhere...Look at the facts...and I dont mean the facts as you want them to be... Diana was deeply flawed both Charles and Diana got married for the wrong reasons. Charles wanted to make the best of it Diana... didn't. Diana took lover's...7 known to us...5 during her marriage to Charles and 2 of those men were happily married till she entered their lives..... Charles rekindled a relationship with his old G/F...who was going through a divorce from one hell of a marriage of her own. Its clear Camilla was his one true love... I doubt even Charles knew that until his marriage to Diana hit the rocks. Plus...we all know the rumours that Prince Harry was the issue from another of Diana's Lovers James Hewitt...doesn't matter whether its true or not...Harry is damaged that's clear . He has grown up all his life thinking... am I or am I not. Who does that to a child ?? I personally dont care...However; he does look remarkably like James Hewitt. IF he is the father of Harry then it speaks Volumes of the good in Prince Charles to never make any difference...Charles Adores both his Son's...and remember...Charles was The Parent...Not Diana ! Diana never did anything that Charles didn't approve first... All the stuff I read about Diana taking them here and there... making them more "normal" Trust me without Charles's knowledge and approval...Non of those "trips" would never have happened.
OMG - “Princess Diana Spencer” ............. WRONG - she was never ‘Princess Diana’ - she was Diana, Princess of Wales. Spencer was her maiden name!! Technically, after her divorce she would not have been allowed to use the title ‘Princess of Wales’.
Well that's not strictly true...The Queen has always been a Modernist while maintaining a general view of being a Traditionalist ...Confused ? Well... The Monarchy is indeed steeped in History and Tradition but The Queen is not... 100's possibly 1000's of things have changed over the years indeed change all the time... The Queen really does know when to change, she has a good sense of what's working what … Isn't. possibly

When her outfits were in a charitable show that traveled around the USA, I got to see them. The tailoring and beauty of her clothes plus her figure were truly stunning. Well dressed woman who had very, very good taste. Most of the clothes were from the last decade of her life.
Princess Diana made it clear that she have a free spirit. And that shes doing things from her mind and heart. Not according the rules of the book. She was allways beautifull dressed and elegant. No matter what she wared. Will allways love her no matter what!
Change your headline there was absolutely NOTHING inappropriate about her outfits 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ keep Megan out of things to do with Diana they will never be on the same level 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Diana wore a one bare shoulder *evening gown* on a trip to far away Brazil, while Markle wore an off shoulder dress at the Trooping of the Colour, a *day event* in the Queen's presence and supposed to be honouring the Queen. Context is everything. Diana's "rebellions" were a mere clin d'oeil, while Markle's are spats in the face.
I don’t think these are inappropriate, just bad outfits. The baggy tuxedo, and the diamond necklace as a headband... yikes. And calm down trolls, she had nice outfits too. I’m just objective, and not disgustingly fawning.
That green necklace as a headband was cringy af! It was the wrong shade of green for that dress too, a real colour clash. The dress was kind of bluey green but the gems were lime green.
She was Lady Diana Spencer. When married to Charles she was HRH Princess of Wales. After they divorced she was Diana, Princess of Wales. She gave up the Spencer name in 1981.
"Megan, like Diana before her .." megs is nothing like Diana no matter how many times she tries to compare herself to Di. I appreciate Kate for NOT going that predictably manipulative route.
When I see Princess Diana in videos like this, I am reminded of how young she was. Of course, she wanted to be herself. Don’t all young people want to find their own style and develop their own fashion sense? She could have any designer she wanted and some of the outfits didn’t suit her young slender figure, but she kept trying. She finally found an iconic look. What a shame she was so overly judged in her early years. I feel for her 😞 .
What it's worth, Princess Diana is n will remain my favorite of all the Royals. She was kind, down to earth n easy to connect with the common ppl. As far as the critics go of her choice of clothinng to wear to any gala events, she could have worned ragged torned up jeans, blaues, crowned with her royal jewelry n still She would have looked spectacular...simply gorgeous. Using word " inappropriate " is straight insult for Princess Diana so don't even dare . Princess Diana was epitome of beauty and grace ! Idgf what double standard queen thinks / thought 🙄
I’d have to take issue with you about some statements in this video. Diana was only known as Spencer before she married. Afterwards it was always Princess Di, or Diana. Secondly I don’t ever recall the Queen interfering in Diana’s wardrobe, although Diana tried out new fashions and wore some frankly frumpy stuff in the early 80’s before she found her own style and confidence. She then became a huge fashion icon. Incidentally Meghan Markle is no longer a ‘Royal’ - her and Prince Harry have opted out, so there’s no doubt she can wear whatever she likes these days. Comparing her to Diana in any way does Diana a disservice. Diana had class and breeding. Something that Markle will never have. Please don’t compare the two. A better comparison can be made with the classy Duchess of Cambridge who will one day be Queen and an equally stunning fashion icon!
Diana and Megan shouldn't be mentioned in the same conversation. Entirely different classes of people. And what the Queen liked was fine for her age group.
I lived in London once many years ago ( Australian ) and knew someone who came home raving about seeing Diana walking down Chelsea road , and how beautiful she was, and how she glowed with a luminous light . What has happened with her two boys now would break her heart.

Metallic dress was gorgeous.
Inappropriate? Pleazzzzzzzze..... Prince Charles' affair with Horseface was inappropriate! Princess Diana was always elegant, kind, and beautiful!
how about his call to horseface and the whole tampon thing. is that appropriate according to royal standards? Poor Lady Diana had the relatives in law from hell
@@Jerseybytes2 So sad. She was so generous and kind.
@@Jerseybytes2 Wait... what is the tampon thing about?
@@DidiStyle the way I remembered charles told horseface he wanted to be her tampon or something along those lines. the whole thing was rather gross and something you'd expect to see in the jerry springer show instead of the royal family
All the stuff I read about Diana taking them here and there... making them more "normal"
Trust me without Charles's knowledge and approval...Non of those "trips" would never have happened.
I always loved that thing with the "cleavage bag". So ladylike. Today's female celebrities can still learn a lot from her...
And Royalty, which is very different. People seem to see them as the same, they are so far apart.
Stuffy out of date Monarch! Diana was a breath of fresh air & The Establishment couldn’t handle it!
The Queen really does know when to change, she has a good sense of what's working what … Isn't.
possibly
Most well dressed, most beautiful woman in the world
Well,not so
wouldn’t call it inappropriate, she was always very elegant ✨
None of them were inappropriate! She looked beautiful in ALL of them!!
When she was married with Charles she often wear ugle clothes and silly hats. Later on she she was dresses very well.
Diana NEVER dressed inappropriately. She always looked beautiful and was a fashion icon, her dress taste was amazing. Xx
First time I ever heard her referred to as "Princess Diana Spencer". 😕🤔
Then again, I guess that's just inappropriate.
And wrong!
why?
Sorry for being ignorant...I just want to know why it's inappropriate
@@akoayisangalikaboksasansin9581 its a joke kid-
I cringe every time that she says it.
If she was going to go to the trouble of finding all those photos of Diana, you would think she'd find out the right name to call her. Or, you know, look at the captions of the photos. 🙄
This PR piece for Markle using Diana is disgusting.
I agree.
Kate is most like Diana. She has the same easy elegance.
Diana rocked in anything she chose to wear! Always beautiful.
She was so beautiful she could wear a paper bag and make it look great.
A woman of style and grace. A rare gem! Are you jealous?
I will always love Diana, she was just so special! Here in America she will always be the People’s Princess!!
Miss her. We all loved her❤️
Hello Marlene
They have such a classic, beautiful look. I am finding a lot of inspiration from their beautiful, desirous looks.
I miss so much hearing about her, reading about her, everything!!! What a wonderful Princess she was.
Oh Not so wonderful really...
She's been dead for 24 years. You're rather overdoing the idolization, don't you think?
My love for princess Diana is just natural, I almost watched everything about her on youtube.
Same here
Yah.. Me too
She was the best princess ever 💕 I miss her still!😫
I've followed her since she first came on the scene in 1980,miss her beautiful smile and the way she was with the public, Camilla will never be Queen in my eyes.
@@dianaforever7794 I totally agree
I still miss her a lot too !!
MY Grandma cried when she passed. Imagine if she was still alive today. How sad. Diana was very mistreated by the royals.
She's been dead for 24 years, and you "miss her still"???!!! Kind of time to let the lady rest in peace, and get on with your own life!
Princess Diana is beautiful wearing a pretty short sleeve shirt and overalls.
Inappropriate, seriously 😒, she was so stylish and still loved to this day, showing princess Diana love from the states
She may have broker Royal protocol, but she made the world better, and the public isn't bothered by it either.
This protocols are so sumb and made by pretentious old ppl who are mostly man
@@0912sooli I agree they are dumb too
She never ever wore inappropriate clothes ever!!! Stop bringing Diana down!!!!
The look is always Diana just as the 60’s were Jackie Kennedy.
Megan just couldn’t carry it of like Diana. Diana was a class act
I loved Princess Di. She could do no wrong to me.
👑👸🏼👰🏼👑
Diana was a unique woman for the clothes she wore and her humanitarian efforts to make the world a better place. A heart of gold.
Agree
Oh leave her alone, that tux looks amazing
Duchess of Cambridge wears trousers as well as wedges (Chelsea Flower Show) . Even in the company of HRH
When her outfits were in a charitable show that traveled around the USA, I got to see them. The tailoring and beauty of her clothes plus her figure were truly stunning. Well dressed woman who had very, very good taste. Most of the clothes were from the last decade of her life.
Diana always looked stunning 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Princess Diana made it clear that she have a free spirit. And that shes doing things from her mind and heart. Not according the rules of the book. She was allways beautifull dressed and elegant. No matter what she wared. Will allways love her no matter what!
Nothing wrong with the outfits?
Heart is more important not clothes
They mean that those styles are usually not appropriate for royals. They don’t mean that the outfits were bad.
She looked beautiful in everything she wore a true princess.
The most photographed woman on Earth. She had no flaws . She was a trendsetter!
Her fashion is amazing.
Princess Diana knew who she was! And she was and still is loved!
She was fabulous
The inappropriate one was camila and charles
What it's worth, Princess Diana is n will remain my favorite of all the Royals. She was kind, down to earth n easy to connect with the common ppl.
As far as the critics go of her choice of clothinng to wear to any gala events, she could have worned ragged torned up jeans, blaues, crowned with her royal jewelry n still She would have looked spectacular...simply gorgeous.
We here in the states r not too much into royalty however, U had much to do do in changing our minds toward that arena of belief. The ones in the the thrown now don't do much to excite me. Rest in peace dear Lady.
She is beautiful. Her smile.
Her wedding dress was awful, yards and yards of nonsense - a real mess
She looks beautiful!!!
Gorgeous In everything she wore
Address her, either as "LADY DIANA SPENCER" or "DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES".
Addressing her as "Princess Diana spencer", is a big No.
I really love Princess Diana. No one beats her fashion style. He looks beautiful whatever she wore.
Yellow overalls and wedges screams 80's. I 💗
and kinda the late 90s too...at least for me. Maybe I was out of style? 😆 I loved my beige baggy GAP overalls that I’d wear with a baby tee and flip flops. 🩴 Ahhh...memories lol
@@littlefurballs Diana was ahead of her time. Certainly didn't deserve that horrible family. Both Spencer girls were groomed from birth to be in the Royal family. Diana was I believe to be betroved to Andrew. Sarah Spencer to Charlies, the ages fit better. Sarah stated that " I wouldn't marry Charles if he was the dustman or King of England" She knew all about Camilla. How could she have let her younger sister marry him? The RF suckered her in, she loved Charles and Monarchy, they lied to her and manipulated just like narcissists do. Harry has a bomb shell. Oprah's interview will be the most watched television special event in history.
@@barbaraj.6309 It’s truly sad, and while I’m not as invested in the royal family like others are, I think what Harry and Meghan did was the right thing for their family.
Oh yes! I hope that interview comes soon!
Loved everything about her!
Using word " inappropriate " is straight insult for Princess Diana so don't even dare . Princess Diana was epitome of beauty and grace ! Idgf what double standard queen thinks / thought 🙄
I loved her engagement dress, it brought out her happiness
Well said, Pam Burt!
Diana would be so ashamed of the way people attack her beloved son's wife.
Diana and Megan shouldn't be mentioned in the same conversation. Entirely different classes of people. And what the Queen liked was fine for her age group.
Just because the queen doesn't like something, others can't wear them........?
Yes shes the queen
I lived in London once many years ago ( Australian ) and knew someone who came home raving about seeing Diana walking down Chelsea road , and how beautiful she was, and how she glowed with a luminous light . What has happened with her two boys now would break her heart.
Fashionnn and queen of hearts
She was truly a special woman. May she Rest In Peace.
I love her and I’m glad she broke the rules and did her own thing !!!
Absolutely stunning, appropriate and perfection!
Adorable in the feminine pastel buttery yellow overall. Precious.
The most Inappropriate Outfits EVER!
And I love her for that!
Please don't compare princess Diane to the nobody, Megan Sparkle.
She never wore inappropriate outfits she always looked good
Thank you! That brought me back. Especially after watching The Crown on Netflix, I needed more Diana.
I always admired Di's defiance. She was always elegant and dressed to the nines.
Queen of our ♥️ hearts.
She was 💖😘
Let’s be real clear here: She was NEVER Princess Diana Spencer! She was Princess Diana, Princess of Wales.
Actually, it was Her Royal Highness Diana, Princess of Wales :)
@@diamonddgs She lost the assignation HRH that the Queen revoked following Charles and Diana’s divorce in 1996 and was titled Diana, Princess of Wales.
She was NEVER Princess Diana Spencer. 🙄

She was never inappropriate. She was the Princess of Wales.
She got that hint of rebellious and she had great style
'Diana exposed too much shoulder' Ooh scary
