Nagelsmann exploited Frankfurt well but they played straight into his hands too 😬
We need old vid back plz
@Football Made Simple what do you guys think of Roberto De Zerbi?
Nice! In your third try, you wrote his name correctly.
Always knew that Lewandowski leaving would allow Nagelsman to expirement more tactically. I'm very keen to see what he will do this season with this sqaud
It's a game.. We need to witness it more.. Maybe frankfurts press wasn't that good either
@@jameskamau2444 no buddy that’s how football works without an out and out striker u can experiment more and try diff things plus Frankfurt press wasn’t good cause the way bayern set up absolutely countered their shape
Tbf you got my point. Other teams that are well structured defensively can Handle bayern with much ease.. Although still the personal brilliance in bayerns squad is quite good
@@jameskamau2444 thid game last season was more difficult..snd frankfurt won europa without loosing a single match shows they are not to be messed with...eve real manager said the supercup vs frankfurt was harder than they thought would be they thought they would dismantle them like bayern did.
Too early to judge, leva was a guranteed 40+ goals a season. Hard to say he was a setback.
A really impressive tactic from bayern, it is interesting to see how it'll develop in the next games and against tougher opponents
Exactly
You are awesome man! Brilliantly professional videos
Thanks for this cuz you generally analyze about PL clubs whereas legendary clubs like Real, Bayern are always ignored in your channel
I love Julian nagelsmann a lot.. he’s going to be an amazing manager
What kind of program you use for showing the tactics on the screen? Btw very good and detailed video 👌
Thanks for the breakdown 👍
Make Real Madrid vs Franckfort super cup pls
Bayern line up looks like a 4222
Isn’t it a defensive error from Frankfurt for breaking the back 3 line, after Bayern just won the ball?. If they would be defensively structured with 5 in the back it wouldn’t be an issue for the Center back to move out, but only 3 in the back seems like a big error to me?
Frankfurt tried to press man-to-man (front 3 vs Bayern's back 3) and condensed the middle (the 3-2 front shape). Their strategy was to force Bayern to the flanks where they could pressure Bayern's wide players. Frankfurt's shape in that match was disrupted from the start when the Bayern's wingers tucked inside, and the Frankfurt defenders were just as confused as you are now.
Chelsea signing Auba, won't it be Lukaku situation all over? What do you say sempai?
Frankfurt better drop that 3-4-2-1, everyone already knows what they do and the way they play.
Nagelsmann is using the legendary tactics of Ralf Rangnick, sadly you didnt mention it. 4-2-2-2 is a great formation, maybe the greatest Gegenpressing formation, but it failed for United because everyone needs to press and be active, but the United players cant and dont want to press. In other words the United players refused to press and run. But of course the english media blamed it on the coach saying that Ralf Rangnick is not a real coach...
So it´s a good furtune that Bayern Munichs player, don´t play for United...right?! Usually they are hyped to go every extra to press and be active and all of them are in such a good physical condition and the transfers are getting pushed up to it by now! In this season they´re released from their chain to have to always serve Lewandowski to make him look great and finally they can show off their skills and talent too! That will be a wild season for Bayern Munich!
@@kathawenzel8033 Indeed. Lewandowski is a great player but for the football of Nagelsmann he isnt fast and agile enough. Someone like Haaland is a much better player for fast football for example.
@@Alex-yq5xl I would go so far that Lewandowski never had been world best if he hadn't had the team behind him which is outstanding! So future will tell if he is still the best in a more competitive team...while in Bayern Munich everyone has a relief to play just up to their possibilities! Look at Pavard! He got so much hate for beeing too much defense in his decisions in play...Lewa is gone and he scored 2 goals!!! ANd the rest of the team is very hungry, bc they all had to beg down to another record for Lewa over the past years...I think this season will be exciting! Not alone for titles but for the fun to watch every game
@@kathawenzel8033 this comment is incredibly stupid… This applies to each and every single player. Every single player is better in a higher quality team… cause football is a team game.
Lewandowski is amazing and saying that he only scored as much as he did because he was at Bayern shows a general lack of knowledge of his career.
Both at Bayern and before at Dortmund this man has essentially decided matches on his own. The only reason people think that Bayern might be better without him now is because he doesn‘t fit in the general idea of football of Nagelsmann.
Lewandowski has perfect posotioning, great first touch/control of the ball and is absolutely clinical in front of goal… but he isn‘t the fastest and doesn‘t like to work in the defence as much.
I agree, I heard so manu things against Rangnick... Like England was still in 90's when they asked "Arsene Who ?"
Guys, if you dont know how good Rangnick is, you mus dont know many about football... (espacially when you have Klopp and Tuchel who coach in your country)
As a Bayern fan, i got a lot of faith in Julian despite the last season, following him from his days in Leipzig, i know his really rich tactically, with modern ideas wich suites today’s game requirements, I'm really expecting so much from him, same as the bayern board.
:(
Bayern are looking scary this season... With mane banging goals and the other new signings adapting they could go very far in UCL.
Hi
@@theraul7532 HAHAHAHA that hi is personally
The versatility we have now that Lewy is gone is just amazing, I had my doubts on Nagelsmann on whether he would be capable of filling the gap with new tactics or not, but at the moment it seems to work well. And additionally it is very attractive football, I'm really hyped for the rest of the season.
You judge that based on one game. Couldnt beat MCity
@@Hector-xe6xrFirst of all it was pre-season, 3 weeks ago.
And secondly, if basing my hype on one game is dumb (it is actually also based on the game against Leipzig but ok). What about your super counter argument that is also based on ONE game ? 🤦
@@Hector-xe6xr “you judge that based on one game”
*proceed to make a comment about one game, a pre-season game as well*
Nice job bud
@@Hector-xe6xr lmao what a stupid comment
Yeah! The mobility when lewy leave the team is impressible. The problem is: Players like Muller, Gnabry and Sané make few goals in career. All hopes in Musiala now!
But, the mobility on this team is unstopabble. bayern will be a UCL Champion again!!!
Bayern is scary even without Lewan, shit
Bayern did a phenomenal job in this game. Lewandowski left the bayern but the team grows tacticaly.
Mane's abilities makes him fit in so well with the tactics of the team. They look frightening.
I'm expecting pretty much all Bundesliga opponents to just park the bus from now on. After 2 matches against Leipzig and Frankfurt it is already pretty clear that Bayern will most likely torch every opponent that is trying to press higher by simply outplaying them. Musiala seems unstoppable after recieving those slicing passes into the half spaces.
As of now it looks like the absence of a classic #9 as Lewandowski was for them doesn't hurt (yet). We'll have to see what happens if their opponents start to just sit deep. I think we'll get a look at this on Sunday against Wolfsburg
Exactly
Unfortunately. It's probably gonna be like bayern vs villareal. Teams playing the disgraceful 8-2-0 formation
Bundesliga isn’t la Liga or the International Premier League. Majority of teams are going to try to play an open game despite being outclassed which is why you see so many lopsided scores when these teams outside of the top 4 play Bayern.
@@weintraub6683 Bayern will have to find a way to beat these ultra carenaccio playing teams...or they aren't going to win the Champions League...
I'm more interested to see them play a team like Real Madrid, FC Liverpool or Manchester City...with coaches more experienced and players that can fight back with class....I'm still worried about the lack of a world class holding midfielder/defending 6.
The problem for this Bayern is teams like Real madrid, PSG...
Because, they have individual master class players, like Neymar, Mbappé, Vinicius Jr.
Bayern give a lot of spaces in defence all games, for players equal Ney, Mbappé, Vini Jr, Messi this is a dream!
All counterattacks be dangerous in this situation.
Quite the exciting game and game plan with loads of pacey forwards. I like it. It will be interesting to see how Bayern will be able to cope with deep laying teams though
Exactly
Bayern are improving their set pieces
I think sadio is already used to pressing so high because of Klopp so physically he should be more prepared
Brilliant analysis. Naglesmann is a freaking genius!
Nice to see Mane doing well.
Very much likely that Nagelsmann will be a legendary coach soon enough.
Hopefully
Definetly
Relax it's not like this is a top team ......everyone knows bundesliga is just Bayern training for UCL
@@dennisgichohi5392 they beat Barca and west ham a couple months ago
Fantastic Analysis from a fantastic channel No cap 🧢 the flexibility of this Bayern Munich team is unreal, the last time i saw Bayern as this flexible was back in 2013 that team was capable of playing any style they want. Looking forward to see how Bayern develop this amazing tactics in the upcoming weeks and how they adapt against defensive teams and powerful opponents i want Bayern to face either of Liverpool, Barca or Juventus in UCL group stage. Personally I'd pick Liverpool as it'll be a great match up. Sending love to this channel.
That's what Mane gives you, options...
This was such an excellent breakdown of Bayern's tactics. Excited to see how they do against bigger opposition
More Bayern in the future pls 🙏🙏
Nagelsmann usualy comes to.life in his second season..in his first season at leipzig he was dismantled by bayern even at hoffenheim..in his second season at both clubs bayern was finding it difficult to even ger a draw vs his teams.
The players don't even think about this during the game. Just have fun when playing football, I barely think about all this and my team still wins as long as there is a formation with 2 strikers.
Don't forget to mention that Mane and Gnabry are staying wide aswell, between wb and cb's. This way, you ping the def's and they can't support's mids, allowing Muller and Musiala receiving the balls easier.
Once goretzka and deligt get to too form
Once sane gets back his form he's bayerns best attacker
Coman which is bayerns best consistent winger will be back next game as well, damn
A fantastic video as usual! I'm sad I discovered your channel so late.
Just a suggestion - Can you do videos about how to break certain tactics? It would be great to see your deep thoughts about how to handle some teams/formations etc.
Yeah like how would Nags with Bayern break deep block (park the bus) in Bundesliga and UCL
Its a very nice idea!
For me, broken this Bayern team need a crazy opponent, making gegenpressing at start and trying hammering this bavarian monster!
If this is impossible, just park the bus and make a defensive masterpiece, equal Vilarreal in past season xD.
Its very hard for bayern to beat a team that does not press high, I.E., Villareal, Gladbach or even ausburg. They are going to suffer even more with out a true striker. Are they gonna win the bundesliga, sure, not a chance with champions league.
Not a chance? So you'd sell 1000:1 ?
Musiala is a talent in the midfield.
As Muller ages.....
If he was english the media wouldn't shut up about him..
@@thogdenthegoat big facts
This is why Man U need a ball playing keeper not DDG
Looks like Bundesliga wrapped up right there.
Bayern will miss neuer once he retires, Bayern style would of been different with another goalie, I have never seen another goalie that played like neuer
bro what was frankfurt doing damn, beaten tactically before the goals even scored
Nagelmann's brain is too big, he outplayed Frankfurt in that match
@@hungotuan4431 not to mention Nagel is an expert in a 3 defenders system, he knows how to beat it.
@@RuiLuz Frankfurt is too slow to adapt, they just can't :((
Thank you for the analysis. You are a football genius with amazing skills for explaining tactics.
Pressing game against bayern is always counter productive
But most teams in the Bundesliga still do it anyway :)))
@@hungotuan4431 they should learn from PL team or, laliga leam i guess😁
Nice explanation as always, but I would suggest you use autotune in your audio before rendering it because it would make your voice more understandable. (With no offence intended)
Thanks you FMS, I waited for that video! Look forward for more Bundesliga-Content!
Please do tactics after tonight match between Barcelona and Rayo Valencano. Thank you! Greatings.
As a Bayern fan , I'm going lay my contention to this system:
1.its too narrow, meaning a team who is well disciplined can definitely nullify this formula, because simply there is no width.
2.the over reliance on players individual brilliant is off the chart , and as we know good coaches rarely relie on players individual brilliance to overcome tactical difficulties.
3.in this setup the midfield is almost bypassed in the build-up which is a crime , because it deprives the team from its natural power when it comes to kimmich also it relenquishes control by being so direct . This approach might not work against a good pressing team .
4.thr over reliance on the CBs to the build-up and create chances which is in it self asking too much of the likes of Lucas and uppa whos passing isn't there strongest suite.
The strong point on this system is: Versatility
This team never stop, it are ever in movement. impossible to stop, impossible to fight, just wait for end...
more bayern videos with nagelssmann
German league too predictable.. make it more competitive please..
Lewandowski benefited from the system at Bayern Munich.
Bro there’s no fucking tactics. That league is fucking shit. It’s horrendous. The gap in quality is so lob sided
What is application you use for moving the players on the field? those circles with numbers
1:15 wait is that ur hand ????? cause if so than my hearing is broke cause u sounded to me like the whitest dude ever XD
bayern didnt play with 4-4-2 its more like 4-2-2-2, thats why u have the box formation in the middle
DId you watch the video?
@@tvanced8583 Yes, but I wrote the comment before I saw the part where he mentions the 4222 formation. Still the start formation is not correct. Most of these sites like one onefootball, flashscore and so on have sometimes wrong starting formations.
The real question: Does bayern really need tactic in bundesliga?????
You're talking as it Kostic did not exist or as if Eintracht is missing a player.
Plz 💛💛do Dortmund next
Wow, very good analysis!
I like your new konzept explaining on the monitor.
It would be good to see how Nagelsmann will cope with team parking the bus and giving him no space.
But this Bayern can go very far this season if they keep this form.
Great video. What program do you use to do this analysis?
third
What was kostic doing the whole time in this Analytics?
Barcelona: WRITE IT DOWN, WRITE IT DOWN!
The Bundesliga needs a revolution. It's clear that all the teams don't want to face Bayern, and all the coaches are just focused on gegen pressing.
A club there should hire simeone. I'm very sure if he arrives there Bundesliga will learn very well😂😂
One thing is fact: All german teams try gegenpressing.
This is bizarre. They try this in all games, but, a team need understand who is limits.
Facing a Bavarian Monster, just stop in defense with all players and try make the better!
What tactics?? BM have won the league 10 years in a row...they've had like 50 coaches the whole time...bro, psg and Munich's league is the champions league, their domestic leagues are just warm up.
Frankfurt was just horrible that day. You can't play pressing half ass. 3 attacking player just being decorative will obviously lead to a lot of space behind them.
these tactics won't work against top teams as there the individual brilliance will outshine bayern's switch play and creativity as bayern defeated frankfurt over thier individual errors which won't happen once bayern plays real madrid or Liverpool or city
bayern can win against any team in the world. lets see what happens first before you talk
@@kaedeakamatsu6877 fffs
1:01 I like this scheme very much. It's very clear. Wouldn't it be possible to equip football players and also the ball with technology that registers the respective position and transfers this data to such a scheme in real time? It would be a very different way of watching football and very interesting. ⚽
Nice video. However, Frankfurt's defence was desolate. And playing with three in the back against Bayern is risky.
Football Made Simple - what program are you using here to display the formation and move players?
At 8:58 what if instead of playing short the goalkeeper plays it to the Free full back, in this case Kostic?
You’ve analyzed all the top teams except Man City
You seem not to like them so much
I think you done videos on man city the least unless they played against a top team
Great Info bro👏 , Versatility of Julian's tactics without a number no.9 will be interesting to follow in coming matches . Thanks for your video 😊
As a Frankfurt fan born and raised there I just want to kms. We played horrible.
Hey, can I ask which technical system do you use to make these graphics?

BAYERN
Frankfurt is going into game vs Bayern too open on field and pressing Bayern like City,Liverpool or Barcelona!?
Frankfurt defended like amateurs
Can you make an analysis of Madrid vs Frankfurt SuperCup match please ? Madrid played a proactive football and dominated the match ! Benz Vini Fede impressed as usual and KCM- the holy trinity were just EXCEPTIONAL !!
Let's be honest the gap between Bayern and the rest of the bundesliga is a country mile . .....it's not really surprising that they are blowing teams away
Bayern can easily lose games had they stayed predictable with their expected high line press & no. 9 reliance.
I hope he replaces pep at city
Wake me up when nagelsmann wins the ucl with bayern
Me too
This is analysef but the Uefa super cup final Madrid v Frankfurt not? 🤦
you always do bayern munich but not borussia dortmund....why?...if you wanna gain audience you should bring diversity
