truthfully it doesn’t matter. you could ride the smallest deck possible and still do really good. for the most foot space and comfort ability, i would definitely recommend a 6 wide by 22.5 long
I am 13 and I have been riding those plastic wheels and the button bars from when I was 5 And is just now starting to break it keeps folding and I can't fix it:/
