They will learn a lot from being at this end of the curve and knowledge is power. Good luck to them. It is achievable despite the challenges and the costs will lower as technology improves. I am old enough to remember when everyone was laughing at Tesla in the early years…
I believe in space planes , they are the future . engineers and investors from all over the world should join Virgin Galactic , together they can make it a reality
Just because some schmuck has a wallet fat enough to buy a ticket doesn't make him an Astronaut. This is an insult to those who have studied and worked for years to earn that title.
With the disclosure at the end they're basically saying: “We’re sharing our hopes and plans for the future, like building more spaceships and making space travel more common. But remember, these are just our goals and not guarantees. Things might change because of risks and uncertainties, so the actual results might be different from what we predict. We might update these plans sometimes, but we’re not required to do so all the time.” The main point is to let people know that while they have big plans, there’s no certainty everything will go as expected. They want to be clear that these are just their current ideas and not promises.

@@_MaxHeadroom_ How patronizing of you, I know what they're saying, I can read. I just find it hilarious that they feel the need to say it ... Without any doubt, the whole plan is just "pie in the sky" and if it ever got off the ground who benefits, the flights would just be a 'joyride' for a few that have more money than sense ...
@@TheChrisDaly Lol my bad I didn't mean to be patronizing. I'll be honest, that's a ChatGPT response and I was just looking for a comment to share it on 😂
It looks pretty similar to the Unity-class spaceplane. I understand it has two additional passenger seats and will hopefully fly many times more often. Is it larger overall? Can it use the same carrier aircraft? For the record, I own a modest amount of SPCE stock.
😬 The term powerful is very superfluous to me, because the machine itself is only a drawing. On the drawing board, all projects have the same value. If I compare this project with one of the alien spaceships of the same size, this ship (if it becomes reality) will be comparable to a small kick scooter in space.
It doesn't seem to have an orbital ready heat shield... And this rocket motor can only bring them up to let them glide back down. With a short stay high up.
Astronaut is an occupation. Not a title to be bestowed just because you went to space for 10 minutes.

At least it’s possible to comment on this video instead of the original.
That right there is some lovely cgi.

Joy ride to the edge of space a total insult to call these joy riders astronauts ffs
Translucent 3d cad fly around looks really slick.
black chrome, nice choice. heat protection with millimeter thickness. this is cutting edge crazy stuff. must be nice to be sir richard branson
Fly to orbit, then...
I'm looking forward to seeing many more flights!
A new era will begin soon. Good luck. Portugal follows the spectacular work of Virgin Galactic

So, loving the Disclosures (or should that be Disclaimers ?), are "forward-looking statements" the same as aspirational BS ... ?

If they manage to ever build a model that is able to deliver astronauts to the space station, space flight would get so much cheaper.
2 extra passengers wont change the fundamental economics of this "business". No way they can turn a profit. More posing from Branson
The sub-orbital companies talking about SPACE, as usual, show an almost "Blackface" level of ignorance and disrespect of what SPACE even is.
Still cheaper to go to 6 Flags and get on 'Superman the ride', and you can repeat the same day!
Will it get to the 'Karmen Line' ie 100km like Blue Origin's New Shepard? At the moment it gets to just over 80km
😬
