Funny thing, if they gave it to me I would just put it on a swivel turret mount, repart the trigger with a much thicket one with a hole in it, weave a cord through in a way that it perfectly connects from 2 to 1 at the butt and bring it out, then put a large ovular aglet on the back.
So the swivel platform will take the recoil instead as I only pull a cord. I would also take 2 steel plates each 8/10ths an inch thick and sandwich them over 17 layers of tin coated soft iron like you would make into a can, strips of kevilar between each layer of metal and then riveted tight so the layers are very very tight and yet there is a space in between them, and so that way it also has a shield. Then I would put a bit of building work between the whole thing like its a castle wall or a ship deck providing extra cover.

Put the 950 on a swivel mount so it takes the recoil and use a rope to fire it

According to Wikipedia, the 950 JDJ round was developed from a 20×110mm autocannon round, so you're not that far off lol
Leave it to Scott to find the one scenario where taking a human shield would only put you in more danger. Lol

I still remember the innocent days when I thought that it doesn't get any more powerful than the .50BMG. These kind of weapons really make .50cal look like a regular small rifle.

You know things have gotten real when Scott goes full Chimpanzee mode
It's 2AM and you hear a window break in your living room. This is the worst day this could happen, as every single one of your guns was lost in a tragic boating accident this morning. All were lost except for one. You look across your room in dread at your anti-kaiju rifle. You know what you have to do, but you don't know if you have the strength to do it, both literally and figuratively.
Heaving the rifle into your arms, you load a .950 cartridge and begin to waddle towards the door. Your feet make a loud “thud” as you take each 6″ step. You know the intruders hear you. You hope they do, for perhaps they will run and spare the world the suffering that is about to befall it.
You try to set the rifle down, but end up clipping your bedroom door and it is immediately knocked off its hinges by this battering ram in your hands. You attempt to round the corner, bonking the muzzle against the doorframe and adjacent wall across the hall at least 4 times. To your horror, two invaders stand there at the end of the hall.
With a heavy heart, you raise the rifle to your shoulder while making inhuman grunting noises from the strain of attempting some semblance of a shooting position. The burglars simply stare in disbelief, unable to process the situation they are witnessing, as if in a dream. You cannot aim the rifle, as the last time you fired the gun, it turned your $3000 Leopuld into a kaleidoscope. You simply hold it at an angle that appears correct and fire.
You are immediately knocked to the floor as if hit by a semi truck going 20 MPH. The shot connected with one of the criminals and it erased him from existence. Even the memories of him have been destroyed and you're wondering why you just shot into an empty hallway. The shot continues to travel through at least 4 houses, a car, and a 10 ton boulder before lodging itself 20 feet into a nearby hill, never to be seen again.
It is at this point, you realize you cannot hear. The surviving burglar can't hear either but he's also on fire from the muzzle blast and is currently vacating your home. You don't care. Your shoulder is dislocated and there is a hole in your brand new AR500 refrigerator. You're crying now. The police arrive and, upon seeing the scene, start laughing. You start crying harder.
At the angle at 2:20 with that lighting, it almost looks like it has 5 barrels.

Man it kinda looked like how I imagine a 40k Bolter would behave when striking unarmored persons. Yeesh the writing wasn't kidding when it mentioned the sheer devastation a boltgun can do when striking massed infantry. And this thing doesn't even have the explosive filler of the bolter shell!

The 4bore is a half of the 2 bore shooting a ¼ pound ball. Gage's on the shot gun were blind measurements of how many balls your could make out of a pound of lead. 0bore would be a pound, 2 bore half 4 bore ¼ pound 6 bore a ⅙ 8 bore ⅛ 10ga ⅒ and so on, also the most popular shotgun back in the day was a 16 gauge, it was more readily available in casings and you got 16 shots out of 1 pound, really good for mid sized game.

I feel like we should start a petition to replace the hammer throw with table throw for the next Olympics.
Think a totally sealed oil drum absolutely full of water would be a good thing to see how much hydrostatic damage those hollow points could do.
I have a suggestion that might not be so popular, I want to see these things shoot from a bit longer range and see what is the effect, I dont know maybe 200-300 meters. And the delay of these rounds would make it really cool i think.

the reason the second zombie torso exploded was because the bullet became wider after hitting the first one and getting a little more flat and became a flying mini plate that would just make it explode

That hollow point shot might be the most accurate representation of what a bolter round does to a unarmored body in the warhammer universe....

When people get shot in the movies by a shotgun, they always fly back several feet. I think that would actually happen for real if you were shot by the 950 JDJ.
you should see if you can find someone crazy enough to load some form a steel penetrators in this thing, maybe with a tungsten carbide tip for good measure. see if works as an anti tank rifle, give your Solothurn some company in your collection that way.
