Labor is one of easiest parts of being a mother in my opinion. It’s a lot at the time but really it just kind of happens to you. It’s the raising and keeping them safe that is the real challenge.

We don’t not saying that a neglectful employee won’t or hasn’t. It is a standard practice not to, and we get cursed out when we don’t. I always tell my staff to stay firm and regardless what they say, don’t budge on protocol.

The love and sacrefice of a mother for her daughter just to save her is soooo priceless. I love this movie.
But she was so frantic and irrational. Good thing the cops were there at the end. They could have written a better arc for Jennifer.

Angelagraham, most of these lifetime movies are labeled as "based on a true story" but very few actually are. There was one movie I watched and I couldn't believe it was even remotely true, so I looked it up and it said it was purely fictitious and any resemblance or similarities of characters were coincidental. Every movie I've looked up so far from Lifetime is fiction. 😕

It is a film. However some instinct kicked in and whatever no one can reason with a psychopath who laid all his problems onto her.
One thing that I notice is that when there's a family no one looks like they are a part of the family. It would be more realistic if they picked actors that had similarities. Just a thought. 😊

If the bad guy was half as smart as he was otherwise portrayed, he would have just called her and said ‘oh hey, I think I picked up your bag by mistake today at the airport, I can meet you somewhere?’
She would have said ‘oh yeah, I just realised that too. I’m staying at the blahblah hotel. I can meet you down in the lobby?’
Despite that terrible flaw in the entire premise of the film, it was enjoyable and I loved the mugging scene. Especially when she took his knife! I’m getting my stuff back and F it, I’m taking your knife too!’ Her fierceness really carried this film and evoked that maternal protective emotion a mother feels.
I’m only 20 minutes in and this should be considered a fantasy movie. Two underage girls wandering the airport because their flight was cancelled? Not calling parents. No airline personnel. No tag on a checked bag? 🙄 don’t call the number you find on the luggage ID badge. No security cameras. And a college student, in these times who isn’t more on guard than to invite a stranger into the hotel room.
Whatever. Suspend reality if you want to enjoy this one

If this wasn't a true story, I would never have believed half of this - it is more like a afternoon thriller: same suitcases but no identifying features like a red ribbon or something; he kidnaps but doesn't hide his face, this is only the beginning.
