One of my favorite flys, seems to be tied so many ways. I love pairing it with a partridge and orange. I love the juxtaposition of old/new, English stream/Rocky Mountain patterns catching fish on a North Carolina river.
PS ….. last several videos have presented with an ODD audio modulation …… sounds like bouncing out of a narrow constriction ?!? Thanks again for a BOOM 💥 Pattern Mr. Craven 🎉 ✨🎣💫
As a newbie to fly tying, I just love your videos. Clear, concise, and insightful. Hope to meet you one of these days!

Nice variation on a killer fly, well done as always.
I love this fly. I use glamour madeira for the wing. It’s a killer fly.
Mega Thx Charlie. You always make tying look so simple and easy, but then again my skills haven’t progressed to yours. But I’m a work in progress. 😆
Great little pattern, and yes they still work on the Madison. The good news is nobody uses them up here :-) until now :-( Thanks for sharing.
Great tutorial, thanks for the video!
Thanks for a fly on Friday night, Charlie...
