my assumption is yes (like technically, you can open any file in notepad but it'll just show gibberish, and this i think is just the video form of doing that?), though i'd be interested in knowing how video compression effects it. would it break it entirely or just glitch it out? would be neat to see

I'm not an expert on this but as the user above me said, I would assume YouYube's video compression would make it not work, or at least not as intended anyway. I'm curious to see what would happen too!

no, it might look fine, but the color of the pixels is important, and even if its off by 1 or 2 shades out of 16 million colors, youll get garbage data, and youtube data compression ruins it
