I imagine this isn't the ending any of them wanted. I imagine they had so much more planned for the future. I'm sure they had stories written out and enough lore to keep us all entertained for years to come...but sometimes things don't go that way and the best of us are taken much too early. Techno had such an impact on countless numbers of people and will continue to improve the lives of anyone who stumbles across the legacy he left behind.
Techno, you will never be forgotten and I hope you're not causing too much trouble drop kicking the orphans of heaven...or hell, maybe god didn't hesitate long enough /j. We miss you o7.

They all actually do... I still remember when Phil said all of them have more individual character plan, especially for techno. If you still remember when Phil show what Techno was building at the dessert and that he has a whole new identity and stuff...

Edit: just saw the recent stuff ranboo posted. Apparently he and Michael survived and have escaped the smp to live elsewhere thanks to Mumza. Tho, that still begs the question on why he chose not to leave a message to tubbo on where he and michael would be
Do you mean Ranboo's character?
It's possible Ghostboo did leave a message for Tubbo, but Tubbo never got the chance to read it, like the goodbye note Tommy left at his house. This lore stream was set "Less than 1 hour before 'The Incident,'" so Tubbo would already have been launching the tampered ICBM with Jack Manifold by now

@@Mittinisnthere Although I’ll miss them in the SMP, lorewise I don’t think we’d me missing much if they lose their memories. It’s just an old man, a woman (Nikki was just the civilian on the SMP she didn’t have any like godlike powers), and Enderman with memory loss.
Hard to watch, but it's heartening to see him remembered so fondly by his friends

i thought i was ready. i thought i was strong enough to hear about him, i was wrong, immediately cried as phill went around naming his animals and freezing as he remembered moments.
"We all miss you dude." it really hurt to hear, i feel terrible for everyone who loved and looked up to techno as much as i did.

I know this is supposed to be an emotional ending but Ghost Connor suddenly appearing and saying he has a spiritual connection to sheep's (Aka roise) is both the funniest and wholesome bit I have ever seen
You can tell how hard technos death hit Phil u can hear it in his voice and nihachu is just being optimistic and trying not to let the sadness and pain take over
So if she got Ranboo and Michael somewhere safe, why didn't she do that to everyone? And i thought DreamXD made the end portal non-openable. Also, we never found out who that mystery syndicate member was that Techno referred to in the past. And how did Connor become a ghost? So many questions, not enough answers.
Well i can answer your last question:
Well Wilbur met DreamXD and he wanted to kill friend (Ghostbur pet) because he couldn't forgive him. He wanted to have only one life for friend but it came at a cost. He had to "sacrifice" Connor for that to happen

XD made the portal non-openable to mortals, mumza is the goddess of death so those rules probably don't apply to her and she probably didn't have enough time to get anyone else to safety or she didn't have enough power to, when she first arrived she said "it took all the remaining power i had to make it here on time" so she probably just saved the priorities (micheal, ranboo and the rest of the syndicate members)

Man I feel bad for Philza this was such a bittersweet moment to watch on one end it was probably exciting and happy to have his wife join for a stream but sad because he was surrounded by Techno’s things you can hear it in his voice and I so wish he could have enjoyed the script a bit better but even people who probably didn’t know what happened could feel his heart breaking. With time it will heal but it doesn’t lessen the hurt of missing someone.

is now essentially a husk, it's master is gone and no matter who controls it, the avatar
will never be the same again.
His dad controls it, as he is the "steward of technoblade's memory". If memory serves he did a stream with Tommy a while back and goes by the handle "Technodad".
I watched Tubbo's stream yesterday while the lore happened without knowing there even was lore and I missed it, I only knew about it when it was already over and I was so frustrated. Once again I'm really glad that this channel exists, now I'm gonna watch it here. I'll be back in 15 minutes and I will probably be crying.

I don't wanna say I'm dissapointed because I didn't expect them to do a big finale, when I figured out that the Syndicate still needs a finale, the first thing I thought was "It wouldn't be the same without Techno". I think they had originally much more lore planned but I understand that they can't/don't want to do it without Techno.
He had and still has such a big impact on many, many people, not only on the lore.

I'm sure it would've been glorious if Techno had been there, but...well...Without him, anything involving the Syndicate feels like it's in shades of grey. In fact, for me, who only watched DSMP because Techno was in it, the entire thing became lifeless and grey without him.
@@bluesbest1 I think season one of the DreamSMP would've ended way later if he was still here. For me personally Techno was not the only reason I watched it but he was still very important for both the storyline and irl

I know that Phil mentioned Ranboo and Micheal since they were the ones who we didn't know anything about their whereabouts, letting us know that they were safe. But it still hurts that he didn't ask about Tommy or Tubbo at the end (or even Fundy for that matter)
seven months later only am i finally watching it. even when i got back into dsmp after technos death, around the time this vod was streamed, i never watched it the entire time i was still actively in the fandom. i loved them so much. its crazy to think younger me wouldve never forseen this in a thousand years, that they thought dsmp was meant to last forever, and lore wise another two years. if i saw them the day techno passed, i wouldnt have any idea how to comfort them. I love you, techno. o7, king. im glad i enjoyed my stay with dsmp while it lasted.

Rewatching this in this time of age makes me feel so much, that drug van, that flag was me and my sisters childhood, and since the Wilbur soot allegations are at peak right now I really sometimes just wish I could go back where the lore was indeed sad but didn’t give me this gut ranching feeling, when Techno never died and everyone could just pause and make funny jokes that made me forget I was watching something that was supposed to be lore filled. I will never forget those simpler times when I was younger. However this still tells a wonderful story that’s sad and yet has a bitter sweet ending, we can’t wave stuff away but we can enjoy that it happened, and we can be glad we experienced it, even if those people aren’t here anymore or weren’t who we thought they were

The fact they had one final bell ringing session knowing unless one of them keeps the meme themselves it would be the last one possibly ever, was so heart warming in such a silly way.
We will miss him and I can only imagine half the reason the DSMP ended the way it did was Techno's passing. Like sure they where nearing the end but we all k now techno and quackity was suppose to have a fight we know that the revival book was likely going to play a part and it was more likely that techno, tommy and Tubbo where likely going to have some kind of conclusion after techno and tubbo worked together to rescue micheal.
I am glad to see lady death appear and i like that they even played to the idea that lady death is supposedly huge in the lore with the golden apple related comments.
I just wonder if they have or will tell us what the original plans where before techno passed, how many theorist where right?

I understand that Mumza could get through the end portal since she is the goddess of death, but what about the others? Also, the reason for them leaving the DSMP and keeping their characters alive alongside with their memories is because they are quitting the lore and never returning for Season 2?

Only 1 and a half in and I feel like I'm going to cry, just hearing Phil sound like he's about to cry himself, and seeing the channel member bell and everything and now knowing Phil is there all alone. Well I just wanted to say , I really appreciate Phil's ending. Unlike Wilbur's final, it's just a natural ending. I know Phil , Niki and Connor wouldn't be in the Season 2 lore...
But it's fine...
For the past 2 years, the DSMP really entertained me so much. Minecraft is just a video game,infect, it's just about building,pvping .... But Wilbur's idea of making DSMP cannon and more serious is amazing. It is something new at that time. The Wars , Revelations that their character had fought, it must be a lot of effort to do that . They even become more successful and famous by the time .
But time aren't stopping, you can't just stay at an era of time you really like. For me I really missed the pogtopia and Manberg War and the hog hunt arc . We all grew up together, fans, creator, whoever once enjoyed the DSMP. We all started with different things or have other interest, but we won't forget about the SMP we once loved, excited about.
Also Technoblade, having a huge role in the SMP ... I know it is hard for DSMP Members not to mention it in lore. So that's probably why most of them aren't gonna be in Season 2 lore. But I am sure they aren't gonna fully quit the dsmp.
Anyways, "Technoblade never dies" that's what he said on the SMP .

The majority of the members have confirmed that they will be in season 2 so far we know at least 35 members of season 1 will be in season 2
