Davey has done wonders with LaLand's landscape. I enjoy seeing all the plants as they grow and mature. The courtyard's improvements are astonishing. The espaliered pear trees are going to be magnificent. The walled garden just keeps looking better and better. Bravo Davey!
Colouring book of May Gibbs illustrations is precious. She's a much celebrated children's author and artist. Her books, one of which is 'Snugglepot and Cuddlepie' you would LOVE> xxxx
May Gibbs was an Australian author who wrote children’s books such as the Gumnut Babies, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Ipswich is an Australian City very near Brisbane, Queensland. When new settlers came to Australia they often named their settlements after their previous home towns.
It’s fantastic that the porcelain coffee set and all the other fragile gifts arrived in one piece, all the way from Australia! Obviously they were wrapped very thoughtfully and carefully - well done Stephanie. Pam’s book will be a great source of knowledge in the garden and wooded areas. 👏🥰
i wish people would take the time and admire and appreciate the crochet and understand how much time it takes to do these beauties. my grandmother taught me how to crochet but i dont even come close to her and others with this talent
My grandmother was a perfectionist with her crocheting, even if she were making a blanket and had a mistake in the middle she would undo the entire thing and start over from where the mishap had happened. I told my husband all the time that she was born in the wrong time because she could’ve made so much money these days off of those things that she made. My favorite were these little crocheted rollerskates made into booties, they were so adorable and she knew I loved them so much so she would crochet even tinier ones for my dolls. All my Barbies had clothes, it was crazy. I do miss her terribly, she passed away 12 years ago.
I think Stephanie and Phillip do ,totally, there doesn't seem a use for it so much today but most of us know its a skill, and life goes full circle know doubt it will have a revival one day.
@@susangillespie7226 although it was unclear to them what is was if they would of been looked at better it would be clear not much use for it now because its summer. Crochet doesnt need to make revival because its a timeless talent to create clothing blankets a lot of other things the list is endless as long as you have creativity ...crochet never gets played out.
It is nice to see you back at Lalande. Lots of great things will happen in the garden. You are a real ARTIST. You treat nature with love and care. Kisses and hugs. Luisa from Pirtugal
My grandmother that I loved dearly and was very close to was 4‘9“ and I would continuously lose her in stores because there was no way of seeing her over the isles. I found myself as a child going to customer service and asking them to call her on the loudspeaker like they would do for children. She was so much fun I can’t even explain, I miss her dearly.

I scrub my face daily with a flannel and it seems to keep my skin healthy and vibrant....People ask, 'what's your skin care routine?' 'Oh, just a little light sanding' I reply....works for me!
The Australian books some of which feature the gumnut babies. Mae Gibbs was the author of those books, they have been around for ever I had some as a baby and I am now 80 years old. The gumnut babies were very tough because they never wore clothes and if you have tried to climb s gum tree they are very rough and spiky in places, but they did however have hats which is very important with our hot sun. Their hats were gum nuts.😊
