Some information for you. As a floral designer we don't say fake flowers it lowers the quality. We say artificial flowers, artificial foliage, artificial arrangements.
You are so lucky with your Goodwills. I have virtually stopped going because the prices are so high. It is a shame but I do have Saint Vincent De Paul, Salvation Army, and several other little stops I can depend on. Your videos are always good and I enjoyed them. Happy birthday
Greetings from France. Just found your videos today and am pleased to meet you and follow your picking outings. The translation on the trinket dish reads ´ a man with no patience is like a lamp with no oil ‘😎 Best regards, Bernice
There must be Koreans in the area. The "state" dish was the Korean peninsula and the kitty was origami of a very popular cartoon character in Korea as well!
Wow..you really do fine some great stuff. Makes me want to also. But where I live there just don't have great stuff. But since watching you learned something. Thank you.
Great finds. Funny that they turn the cups upside down on the shelves. Ours are all upright. Thanks for sharing. You have some great finds. Love the ashtray.
As I sit in the Reno area. Your so close. How is your fur baby? As I said before. Thank you for your videos I have learned so much from you sharing. As I am trying to support a college student with my resell. Keep them coming
The Hello Kitty was most likely made by someone from SE Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, etc). There was a card dealer at one of our local casinos in San Diego that created a dragon figure from discarded playing cards. The cards were folded like the pieces in that Hello Kitty. Not sure how they connect all the pieces together..... whether they are glued or pinned or some other means.
Hi! First time here. I love your videos. Very informative and educational. I'm in Austin Texas and I'm just now starting to thrift shop to sell. So far, I'm thinking only local (Nextdoor and Craigslist) so I don't have to ship anything. But my daughter is going to set me up an Etsy shop for eventually shipping the nicer things. Thanks for your videos. I will be following you whenever I see you post your videos. Good thrifting!
Egg cups came to my mind first when you picked that cute wood piece up too. Love the music box. Glad you grabbed the vintage ribbon. Love the aqua dishes and pitcher. That was a good trip. Hope I remember to watch Monday. lol
I love your channel. You and your daughter are very beautiful. I watch a lot of reseller videos because you guys show me what's good and bad "finds". I also wonder why do you stay away from the Japan and China made things?
Japanese and Chinese antiques are not the same as American and European antiques. The history in Asian countries makes it so that items must be much much older to have the high values. I do pick up pieces but I am very selective as there is a lot of mass marketed items out there.
That little tray that you didn't understand was French! It translates to "the man without patience is like a lamp without oil." (Do woth that what you will lol)
@@TheNICHELady everything is offensive to someone these days 🙄 I'm up here in Calgary, Alberta, and the Edmonton (also Alberta) Eskimos have decided to change their name because it's offensive.
I have a question: Do US-Americans not eat soft boiled eggs? It often seems people don't know what egg cups are/what they are used for. You cook your eggs in the shell but shorter than hard boiled eggs, so you can put them in the egg cup, crack open the top of the shell and eat them with a spoon and, if you want, with salt and maybe pepper. Some people prefer the yolk still runny, others want it somewhat solid. Though, you can also put half a soft kiwi in one and eat that with a spoon. ;)
Ahhh I didn't know this... nope I've never had a soft boiled egg only hard. What you describe is more like a poached egg where they are cracked open in water and the yolk stays soft and runny.
@@TheNICHELady not a poached egg. You cook them exactly like hard boiled eggs, only shorter. In the shell. You then put the egg, in the shell, in your egg cup, use a teaspoon to knock on the top of the shell to crack it, peel a bit off of it, eat the egg with the teaspoon. Remaining shell stays intact.
I'm an American and I know the different between ,soft boil egg, .boil eggs, fried eggs ,scramble eggs and poached egg and sunny side up egg and have lived in many places in the world....these people go shopping to make money and don't know to much about vintages
Omg Neopets! I was very active on their site when my son was a baby. He turned 21 in April... I'm on Subeta now. I joined that site when my daughter was a baby. She just turned 16. Do you pick up uranium glass?
When I find it at good prices, it tends to be one of those things the pricers think they found gold! LOL!

How do you find the sold (with prices) items on eBay? I have an account, have searched and unable to find.
It's a filter either on your phone or on the left side of the screen on your computer
