The ending to the game was actually pretty sad. For a game that usually doesn't take itself seriously, this got me. It was kinda ruined since she was instantly brought back in PBS, but I'm not complaining.
Yes that's is Sony's fault not letting Ryoki rest in piece. She was very likable character. The Mid Summer Festival is fair and PBS, but Japan never brings the deceased name up and exploit it in real life.

Fought Ryoki to the "Soul of Cinder" ost on Hard my first play through. I will never forget a fight when a non dark souls boss gave me so much hell but damn was it worth it.
