Surfboard Shaping with Edgewater Surf | Part 7 | Fiberglass Sanding and Bottom Hot Coat

- The fiberglass has dried and cured. Jeff sands the entire board to prep it for the hot coat. He takes the measurements from the board to determine how much resin he needs to mix for this coat. He also builds a tape wall on the tail for it to build up. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks this board will be ready for the water. To my knowledge, all that is left is to hot coat the top of the board, polish sand the board, epoxy the leash plug, cut out the fiberglass covering the fin boxes, put the screw in the fin boxes, apply the custom traction pad that Jeff made, and then screw some fins in and it will be good to go. I'll probably do a board review with an edit to follow once it's finished and hopefully some decent waves on the lake or if I get some time to break away to the ocean. As always, thanks for watching!
