Merry Christmas. Peter. Paul. Mary. I bussed tables in an Indiana town that bordered Chicago. One night before closing, three people walked in for dinner. It was Peter, Paul and Mary. I almost fainted. They denied it and said they were often mistaken. Yea, right. I think they just wanted a quiet dinner. This was in the late 60s and most people really did not know them. At least in Indiana. No phones with cameras back then. When they left, I wrote on the bottom of their chairs that they had sat in them. Once, when I was in Africa, we were hitchhiking and this cool WWII kind of car stopped to pick us up. Two Brits, a guy and a girl. I didn't pay them much mind. Anyway, a few days later were waiting for a plane at the small airport ... and, in line, I recognized the two people. Still, I really thought nothing of it. Mind you, I was more Peter, Paul and Mary. When I got back to the States, I recognized a clip on the news--it was those two people. It was Mick Jagger and his wife! LOL ... Merry Christmas.

I have heard the song before but never paid attention to the title. It might be Judy Collins Xmas album, a favorite of mine. I will, just for the heck of it, throw in that Stevie Nicks version of Silent Night is my favorite Xmas song.

If you are not already aware of Stings 2009 album. Check out ‘If on a winters night’ he covers the Cherry tree Carol. Nearly as good as your version Randy🤣
