I did all these steps, but when I plug in the drive and reboot my mac, it doesn't appear in the menu. I have a Mac M3 2023. Would love some help or advice if you have any!

Did you change your disk partition type to MBR?

Yes I did. Unfortunately no luck showing up after reboot. Did you try putting the bootable USB in a silicon based Mac?
