Sincere thanks: saved me a bunch of time and frustration. One word synopsis of the plot? Remove window before trying to remove or reinstall fly screen!
This is what I love about the internet, I removed the fly screen to clean the window and could NOT for the life of me reinstall it, I didn't think for a second to remove the window from the slider! Thanks so much random Google result for making my day easier!
Your videos are my go to for anything I don't know how to do. Thank you so much for your time and very clear instructions! 😍 It's very much appreciated.. I've watched your vids that many times that my 6yo daughter is obsessed. She always asks me to put your vids on the TV when she wants to relax 🤣 She's also found them on her tablet and I walked in on her watching a whole 17 minute video on a garage floor transformation and apparently loved every minute of it 😅🤣
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!! I WAS TRYING TO RE-INSTAL IT FOR SOOOO LONG AND COULD FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG!! I WAS PUTTING IT INTO THE SHALLOW SIDE!! THANK YOUUUU ❤❤❤❤
Thanks mate, I had the second type of window and was really struggling to get the bugger back in after replacing the screen. This video show me how to get it done!
Thanks for the great video. I can't get my screen in no matter what I try. Is it possible Stegbar made the screen a few mm too big? I can get most of it in but it just gets stuck right down in the last cm of the bottom corner. Too scared to push too hard in case I ruin the window frame.
Another nice little vid Bill 👍 I just had a quick one for ya - My fly screens are fairly similar to the second type in your video, except the frames are timber and no real channel to sit in, they just go inside the timber frame basically. All the windows are awning. My question is, how on earth do I get them in and out without scratching the timber? I just painted some of them and they're leaving some deep scratches sometimes... Could this also be a paint issue? I.e. Primer not used/ suitable...
Most new houses and high rise buildings need to be all removed from the inside of the property which means the window needs to come out for access. If you ever come across it you will know how to remove them 👍
Thankyou, because my front door was extremely hard to sneak out from
💀
I fought with my fly screen for so long because the windows needed cleaning, this video saved me. Thank you legend 🙌
👍

The older fly screens are so shit... new ones are great
They are definitely much more difficult to remove and install, especially in high rise units where everything has to be done from the inside. 👍
Why tf is this ridiculously hard to do
