I remember at this point in the game I sent out Decidueye (who I'd raised from day 1 as a Rowlet) and Sylveon (who I'd met as an Eevee in the Obsidian Fieldlands very early on) and talked to them both, and it almost looked like they were trying to console me. After watching my character get banished from the only home he'd ever known in this strange land, it was so heartwarming to see that my Pokemon were still sticking by his side to the very end. Yeah I loved that scene too. I was at a family gathering when I got to the point and was trying beyond my limits to not cry.
Best thing I can say is I'm glad they had this play all across with the current situation going on with the sky, it gives off an unnerving feeling from how dire the situation is.
Heavy Rain: The situation is dire, you need to stop Kyogre at all costs to save the world! Disaster Looming: The world is ending, time has halted, space is distorting, unknowable forces are tearing at the fabric of time. Drought: THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. THE SCREAMS YOU HEAR ARE THE SINS YOU CARRY WITH YOU TO HELL.

This theme in the game reinvigorated me to finish it. I was about at a saturation point but the story, this music and thematic changes really took this Pokemon game to another level.
Can I be honest? I enjoy this part of the game more than anything else. It just makes you feel like your hard work is needed more than ever. This song may be somewhat eerie, but god is it one of my favorites from an emotional standpoint.
I sent out my full team right after the whole thing happened. It felt like they were trying to console me. In most games before now I felt I couldn't bond as well with my team. This moment for me made me understand actually being connected with my pokemon. Meanwhile mismagus was LITERALLY SLEEPING
@@FishronCatFurryBoi my team was samurott, arcanine, luxray, staraptor, roserade, and mismagus. I know it's kinda a basic team but a really liked all of them so that's why I used them
As soon as I got to this part I instantly imagined a scenario of my character sending out all his Pokémon, apologising and telling them they are free to leave if they want. Of course they don't. I'd draw it if I was any good at that.
After sword and shield I became hesitant about being excited for a Pokémon game. But then this came out and I heard good things about it. I got the game soon after release and it turned out to be my second favorite Pokémon game. Only beaten by black and I’m sure it’s just cus black has nostalgia behind it
This music was so good and equally creepy at the same time. It was so unsettling how it played no matter what world you visited and no matter what you did (even during a battle) just so strange!
Did a loose Nuzlocke run, this scene was absolutely depressing, but in the best way possible. Spoilers… I was exiled from my home, blamed for the disaster, and I had two deaths to Avalugg just before this. Then theres the scene with the baby Luxray’s, whatever theyre called, and I wanted to cry since that was my first catch and he had passed away against Lord Electrode. In short, this was an amazing moment for the franchise.
Man, just got to this part and it was a truck (w/o Mew) The red sky followed by the leaders trying to defend you, to the Death Row Walk out of the village, and this music not even pausing for battles. Although, nothing against this music, but once Cyllene gave to order to not die, I switched over to the "Run Away Fugitives" from Red Rescue Team as I rode Wyrdeer off into the unknown (and then back to this after)
I'm often reading about Pokemon on wikia or wikipedia but luckily I stopped in terms of Arceus when I was almost spoiled what would happen next after restoring the fifth Noble to normal. All I knew was something worst was going to happen. Little did I know that the sky turning red would rob me of the beauty of the nature that I've been surrounded by since my adventure began. The look of the Hisui region took on a different beauty between night and day but was something I loved seeing in both but a red sky took away the beautiful sky as well as a sense of time as Pokemon only seen at night would often come out and then go away randomly. I was robbed of the beauty of a blue sky for a timeless red where nothing mattered anymore. It was only until last night that I was finally able to restore the sky and I never felt so happy on getting the nature I once knew back to normal. The red sky truly makes things emotional on the player for many reasons.
I've NEVER felt like this when playing a Pokemon game...let along ANY video game. Being exiled...and having to deal with the aftermath...was SURREAL. Just the thought of "having no home to return to" was terrifying and this music...OH GOD this music sets the tone SO WELL. Hiromitsu Maeba and Hitomi Sato are so good at what they do. I'll never forget the whiplash I felt when this happened.
Actually, this may share some similarities to the Distortion world from Platinum. I think both of them invoke an "empty" feeling being that there is no time and space. Especially 1:33 where it builds up then gradually fades accompanied by the strings next. Kind of like shedding a sort of light in the darkness.
Update for anyone who has read my previous comment. My family and I are having a partial reunion at last. It will be in August. It has been about 5 years. I just hope to one day have all of us together for real.
This is something you'd hear in a final fantasy game tbf, this game is honestly the best Pokémon game on the switch and i think they nailed it for a first attempt and if this is the future for pokémon games then it's a good move i feel. This game has final fantasy vibes i feel just ashame it never had a longer storyline.
1:25 - 1:58 easily my favorite part from the song: eerie but peaceful. Even the decor is ominous with the red sky with the color line and the fact you're banned from the town that look like a primitive man at the beginning and then he'll evolve into a better specie. Sorry it's science but the part and that song give reflexion
This is my favorite part. Am doing another run just so I can stay at this part Sky being forever Red❤️ This music is amazing. 😊 I love the feeling of being alone and being blamed as a Outsider. Red Sky beyond your control you taking the blame for it because of people's paranoia towards you. Being banished. It gave me a rush of excitement.
Kind of the opposite for me, I thought it was pretty epic how it played for all the underworld but by the point it stopped playing I was getting bored of it already
I don't play the game; I watch my kids play it when I need to chill out. I love the music in the whole game, but when this piece comes on, I get major goose bumps - serious chillage! I don't get "disaster looming" vibes at all...more like anticipation that something big is about to happen, but not something bad. Way cool!
This music has quite an interesting melancholy vibe. It also reminds me of Giygas theme in few parts, specifically 1:25 and 3:57. Anyone else feel the same?
When we got to this part of the game I looked at my wife, both long time pokemon fans, and said, "What the hell? Aside from loving this I feel like we stepped outta pokemon and into my world Final Fantasy 7 and Majoras Mask with the sky falling." The intensity and unease was awesome.
This whole section hits so freaking hard, because it happens right after you think you fixed everything. It's like you've been used.

No spoilers: I got to the part with *certain events* and I was at a family gathering so I had to try incredibly hard not to cry, infront of my family.
Spoilers below
I got to the part where you get kicked out of jubilife, and the way the clan leaders try to stand up for you just broke my heart cause you just end up getting kicked out anyway. I was at a family gathering when I got to the point and was trying beyond my limits to not cry.
I saw this backstabbing coming, but it was still done so well
why were you playing at a family gathering
I really love how it just doesn't stop playing until you get to the temple of Sinnoh
Best thing I can say is I'm glad they had this play all across with the current situation going on with the sky, it gives off an unnerving feeling from how dire the situation is.
reminds me so much of Ruby and Sapphire with Kyogre and Groudon on their rampage : D
My trauma from the OR drought theme has come back in the coolest way possible
Am I the only one who hears the Distortion World in this? Especially from 1:25 to 2:00
omg finally a comment about this. i immediately thought it was a reiteration of the distortion world. has similar instruments and notes but im not sure if it's actually it though
“You are expelled from Jubilife Village!”
Imagine doing so much, just for everything to crumble apart in your hands.
thank you kamado very cool
This song reminds me of the Drought theme from the Hoenn games, it evokes the same amount of dread
This is my favorite song for some reason. So apocalyptic. So hopeless yet still trying. So distant from the village you called home. * chefs kiss *
just started this part and the atmosphere is intense. and then the music continues but with more energy in a battle... this rocks.
This reminds me of when Necrozma steals the light and opens all the wormholes, but significantly more ominous.
Spoilers
From what Kamando said, I knew he would do something harsh, but I expected him to do something crazy to the pokemon in Hisui or something...NOT BANISH ME FROM JUBILIFE LIKE HOLY CRAP DUDE
Oh, it's the Distortion World music from Platinum, only just realized this.
Mismagus Doesn't Even Care...The Disrespect..
What was your current team?
@@FishronCatFurryBoi my team was samurott, arcanine, luxray, staraptor, roserade, and mismagus. I know it's kinda a basic team but a really liked all of them so that's why I used them
As soon as I got to this part I instantly imagined a scenario of my character sending out all his Pokémon, apologising and telling them they are free to leave if they want. Of course they don't.
I'd draw it if I was any good at that.
A calm melancholy and despair knowing of its haunt and giving your mind no time to relax
1:54 arc phone beeping
THIS GIVES ME TTYD AND TLOZ TP VIBES HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS TRACK
After sword and shield I became hesitant about being excited for a Pokémon game. But then this came out and I heard good things about it. I got the game soon after release and it turned out to be my second favorite Pokémon game. Only beaten by black and I’m sure it’s just cus black has nostalgia behind it
The synth gives me vibes of Heaven's Night from SIlent Hill
This music was so good and equally creepy at the same time. It was so unsettling how it played no matter what world you visited and no matter what you did (even during a battle) just so strange!
Did a loose Nuzlocke run, this scene was absolutely depressing, but in the best way possible. Spoilers…
I was exiled from my home, blamed for the disaster, and I had two deaths to Avalugg just before this. Then theres the scene with the baby Luxray’s, whatever theyre called, and I wanted to cry since that was my first catch and he had passed away against Lord Electrode.
In short, this was an amazing moment for the franchise.
Baby Luxrays xD Lmao, Shinx!
@@MaxArceus yes thank you haha
I forgot that scene i think
does anyone have a link to the shinx cutscene?
This is literally just the song that plays when I’m walking to my bus stop on a dark winter morning.
My favourite song so far, I need to listen to the others more, though this one stuck out to me since it feels so intimidating but also cool
Man, just got to this part and it was a truck (w/o Mew)
The red sky followed by the leaders trying to defend you, to the Death Row Walk out of the village, and this music not even pausing for battles.
Although, nothing against this music, but once Cyllene gave to order to not die, I switched over to the "Run Away Fugitives" from Red Rescue Team as I rode Wyrdeer off into the unknown (and then back to this after)
This is lowkey my favorite theme in the game
A beautiful ost for a creepy moment in this game
This is the theme that plays in your head, when you just have been deceived.
This music gives me a lot of Zelda Twilight Princess vibes. Especially with how distorted the music sounds. I like it
I was looking for this comment. Kudos!
zelda
Me: I should stop dialga
Also me: time to shiny hunt zorua, that can wait.
Easily one of Pokemon's best tracks of all time...the despair, the lonely sounding strings... I would have loved this in high school..
The atmosphere in this part of the game is the best. I never wanted it to end lol.
There are also multiple battle versions of this track.
Looming dread… I think that’s something many of us are feeling right now.
This is straight up just a Shin Megami Tensei V overworld track and I'm here for it.
Lategame SMT be like
This is something you'd hear in a final fantasy game tbf, this game is honestly the best Pokémon game on the switch and i think they nailed it for a first attempt and if this is the future for pokémon games then it's a good move i feel. This game has final fantasy vibes i feel just ashame it never had a longer storyline.
the synth kind of reminds me of twilight princess when you’re in the twilight zone
I'm getting heavy SmtV vibes from this, I love it
This song can take control of my body at 3:00 am
1:25 - 1:58 easily my favorite part from the song: eerie but peaceful.
Even the decor is ominous with the red sky with the color line and the fact you're banned from the town that look like a primitive man at the beginning and then he'll evolve into a better specie. Sorry it's science but the part and that song give reflexion
the whole soundtrack is so good its crazy, but this has to be my favorite track
This is my favorite part.
Am doing another run just so I can stay at this part Sky being forever Red❤️
This music is amazing. 😊
I love the feeling of being alone and being blamed as a Outsider.
Red Sky beyond your control you taking the blame for it because of people's paranoia towards you.
Being banished.
It gave me a rush of excitement.
I love the part where Shinx comes to cheer you up 🥹 Shinx is one of my favorite Pokemon and that just made me love it even more
This might be the most important track in the series.
This gives me more chills than Ruby’s Drought. And that thing terrified me for a good while a few years back.
Huge SMT overworld vibes in this song.
I finished the base game and i'm a bit upset that this beautiful music seems to be gone now...is there a way to bring It back? I miss it :(
I wouldn't say so...
Start the game over
Arceus, can I please re-fuck the world?
Arceus: no dude
Maybe ask for a mod on gamebanana?
Play another run and keep it there.
Don't bother finishing the story.
There all done.
The world is forever Red❤️
fuckin THANKS Kamado not like I SAVED YOUR ASSES SEVERAL TIMES
“but… red sky scary”

@Thookah V I understand the man is probably traumatised from his village burning but cmon mate
Love it! Such mysterie soundtrack are the best
When I first heard this, I was heartbroken
Now I hear this? I get fuckin pumped up.
Kind of the opposite for me, I thought it was pretty epic how it played for all the underworld but by the point it stopped playing I was getting bored of it already
I like this theme it's so calm to me.
This song is painful to hear because this part was hard in my opinion, but it’s calm somewhat…
When I first heard this I thought all the Pokemon would be red eyes or something...
Same.
It's a shame really they could've spike the level difficulty here.
Perfect excuse to.
This song has a very Twilight Princess-esque essence. It reminds something like the theme of Twilight Hyrule. Especially from 1:24.
Anyone else reminded of the dream world (I think that's what it was called) from pokemon platinum? Either way such an awesome track. I love it!
It is called the Distortion World
Ah yes, the sky is red and there's impending doom.
And what's the first thing I do?
Play the balloon game multiple times until I got all of them, lol.
I don't play the game; I watch my kids play it when I need to chill out. I love the music in the whole game, but when this piece comes on, I get major goose bumps - serious chillage! I don't get "disaster looming" vibes at all...more like anticipation that something big is about to happen, but not something bad. Way cool!
This track is really good the first time you hear it
Then you realize it plays everywhere, nonstop...
It’s still good everywhere
Even in cutscenes? Battles? Literally everywhere, absolutely non-stop? It never changes, and it grates on the mind.
And it still slaps
It does get a bit tedious tbh
Distortion World theme remix.
This music has quite an interesting melancholy vibe.
It also reminds me of Giygas theme in few parts, specifically 1:25 and 3:57. Anyone else feel the same?
Yeah it so creepy but so calm and beautiful… I wish i can restart the mission sense i completed it😔
Sounds more like Twilight Princess to me
When we got to this part of the game I looked at my wife, both long time pokemon fans, and said, "What the hell? Aside from loving this I feel like we stepped outta pokemon and into my world Final Fantasy 7 and Majoras Mask with the sky falling." The intensity and unease was awesome.
0:18 The bells.........
They nailed the bells
This Is so beautiful.. It reminds me "Have a Nice Life" and "Godspeed You Black Emperor" music 😍
