Irish Entomology Pre Meet 2 (2023) ~ Protecting and Connecting our Invertebrate Habitats

At our second Irish Entomology Meeting online pre-meet, you will meet some of conservation experts challenging how we look at habitats and designations for our invertebrates. The idea of these meetings is to enjoy a talk from experts and join in on a discussion to debate issues influencing or impacting our invertebrates, from data deficiency to climate change to policy and legislation reform.
In our first seminar we chatted to Nina Schonberg from Ulster Wildlife to discuss what Nature Recovery Networks are all about and how they may influence invertebrates, and followed up with Buglife's very own Jamie Robins to consider progress of Important Invertebrate Areas in England & Wales, and how they may influence how we look at improving conservation for invertebrates in Ireland.
