Jamie and a cockatoo. 😮 So you and Dave know. I am a lurker here. I don’t have a bird. I thought I wanted one until I watched many of your videos. Now I understand I am not the right fit right now. So I lurk here and support my local rescue. Thank you for the great videos. Thank you for educating me. But I need a cockatoo at some point. Nnnneeeeddd. Lol
I’ve had 4, and so crave another. But I have them living snd screeching right outside my window, so now that keeps me content. Snd I can walk to a place deep in a park where if I lay down in grass w a bowl of sunflower seeds., at least 20 will walk all over me snd eat. I adore this!!these are wild birds!
@@thetoiletgirl2 so jealous. I watched a UA-cam video of someone that befriended wild cockatoos. I am beside myself. But I have a murder of crows that I feed daily with my ducks. And I will have to be content with that.
@@smccormack428 yes I’ve seen that vid too of her flock on her railing!!! I’m jealous of that!! My goal.! Except u notice, she had no plants on her balcony? Cuz one day if u don’t feed them on time cuz ur out, they will tear your plants apart just to be destructive. They’re known to tear apart roofs. But then they make u laugh twirling around on the telephone lines sbove the highway! When there’s a light rain they bath on the trees by spreading their wings snd rubbing them on the leaves whilst screeching in joy!
Sorry about Blue's passing. Capri did such a great job with Blue. I hope you get Capri a well bred baby Parrotlet. With the excellent diet you guys feed your birds at least she could have it longer.
Oh man, I got scared to death when Blueberry decided to use the cockatoo as a play ramp, one good nip and she'd have been a raspberry :( Glad it all worked out and Patty's birdie is on her way to cruising in a backpack!
Omg you just asked Theo if he wanted an almond and my galah went "oooooooh!!!!" from the other room 😂😂😂 No buddy, not for you. Blueberry is unreal 😂 I hate when people act like budgies are just silly little birds that aren't worth a lot of effort when they are, they are so smart and so lovely. Theo is just absolutely the sweetest little darling, her fluffy face makes me so happy. Cockatoos make me happy 😂
I'm can totally relate to that cockatoo. I never try anything until I've seen it done or read the instruction. And I don't like change, unless I'm bored.
I'm so sorry for your loss of blue. At least he had the happiest loved filled days imaginable. Give Capri lots of love! Its hard losing a friend/ companion even if it's an animal. Hope she's able to process this and come back stronger than ever! I would have left a comment but if the video is labled kids it won't allow any comments.
I just received your backpack - it’s beautiful and so functional! Now all I need is my baby Blue Headed Pionus to be weaned and ready to come home! Your perches are amazing as well! Thank you!❤
Oh, I love Theo!!! They are the sweetest little cockatoos. They look a lot like the little corellas we have here in Australia. I do like the look of the backpack, I've been wanting to try out my darling boy galah in one as he's a very social fellow and would love to come places with me. He's about the same size as Theo. I will have to look into getting him one!
This was so cute! And Blueberry running up Theo"s back was hilarious, actually seeing Theo's expression when Blue did that was hilarious! This video came at such a good time too because I have to train my cockatiel to go in an aviary and a flight suit. eek!
I had a trio of cockatiels (mom dad and son) I couldn’t get one of them to learn the spin trick so I just didn’t teach him it and he watched his parents doing the trick and getting the reward so he started spinning too and so at first I gave him a treat but then slowly stopped giving him treats for spinning unless I gave the que and that’s how he learned
Great work. I don't have even have a bird. Love the bit when Blueberry climbed Theo. So funny. And who knew birds like garbanzo beans. Really enjoyed watching, thanks. Sweet girl too.
Really great progress today: Adorable new fren. Adorable Blueberry. Adorable you and Capri! Off she goes with such confidence with the bird. Great energy ❤ I'm just about to adopt a new puppy from a highly experienced Foster and I'm so honoured he's had such a great start.
Kiki and I are hoping that you do a followup. Next steps to closing her in and how to deal with any negative reaction. Kiki flies in to check for treats regularly with the pack in various locations…but I am afraid to make a misstep.
Haven’t been a religious viewer since Cheeky died, but I loved seeing this cute Goffin video today! Theo is so precious, and I relate to Capri saying "this is my kind of bird" lol. They can definitely have their cute & sweet moments, but they'll definitely have their aggressive & psycho times, too.
Great video ,little blueberry is adorable 😊I love cockatoos and one day soon when we move I hope to have one .Right now we live in a house with neighbours either side so I think it might get a little loud 😂My flock of 2 budgies ,1 conure ,1 quaker a derbyan and 1 amazon are just perfect and apart from my quaker they are pretty quiet 😬
thank you! i was thinking of getting one for my cockatiel tempest but i know she get very scard onf new things ads there wasnt any vidoes of how to train your bird to be ok going in one.
Lol, my budgie is scared of EVERHTHING. he is fine around me and my friend and will sit on our shoulders and fly around, but he is scared of Millet, my desk, near enough anything you can think of.
Mine was too. I found that, by just leaving something near a place he likes (like 1 or 2 meters from his cage), my budgie gets used to the object and may even try to go near it after after a few days/weeks. He gets less and less afraid each time a new object is put there.
i just saw the video on blue so sorry for the loss. you did everything u possibly could do . but with what he went thru hording the damage was done and there was nothing you could do. you tried please tell your daughter she gave him in his last months love something he lacked previously until he came to u. she made his last months better and he lived longer then had he remained in hording .
I bought a backpack much like that one last year. It was nearly $200.00……and my African Gray hates it!! I was hoping he’d like to come outside, but nope. Anyway, I put him in it anyway, cause he has to get his nails done every month or so……..I raised 2 moulaccan, and 4 umbrella cockatoos. I love cockatoos….they are scary smart!
Seeing Blueberry 🫐 @05:00 come in gave me an idea. Maybe 🤔 seeing other unafraid birds on the counter, 2 maybe 3, would give her enough confidence to alight too . I’m thinking of the birds I feed on a platform out my slider🚪. When 1 bird flies in, a slew of others do too feeling safety in numbers. Same goes when 1 sees a potential predator, they all fly away en masse. Just a theory, but maybe follow-the-leader would work faster.
The "I like those" to "Her beak is huge" almost killed me. Also this whole video I keep playing "what will Blueberry do, to get him locked up in unhelpful jail"
is budgies riding other birds a normal thing? all 3 of mine try to do it with my green cheek tails, fun to watch but I do try not to encourage it cause it enrages the conures haha
So I got a backpack carrier for my two parakeets. I need some tips on how to get them used to it and since I don’t have a eager bird that already knows the carrier it’s is harder to get them comfortable. Please give me some tips Dave and Jamie.
Are these kinds of backpacks suitable for budgies? I was asking for one in my local pet store and the lady there told me she thinks that's are terrible idea. I thought of using one for when i get budgies and get them to the vet more easily since i don't have a car. Living in germany.

Any chance you will offer a more "toned down" backpack option so that the rest of us who need one could.actually afford it? Or does anyone have a similar bird backpack that you can recommend? I'm talking under $75??
I always see videos about birds making them out to great pets. But how messy and noisy are they? Poop every where? Screech all day long? Do they only poop in their cage or do they just poop while sitting on your head? These are the things I want to know.
Why don’t you use the length of the bar to give you more space? Is it because you’re filming and that makes it more difficult. I was thinking if you used the length of your bar that would give you more space. Inquiring minds.😂😂😂
Whoever is adding the little silent captions from the birds is doing a great job! I love seeing that and find it highly entertaining.
Oh my goodness Blueberry gave me such a great laugh for today! Theo is such a cutie.
I was sad to see him put away! He was so cute!
Blueberry steals the show here! Too cute. Love budgies!
I love when Capri comes in at the end of the training and takes the bird to her room😂😂😂😂

Blueberry has a huge personality, Just climb up the cockatoo back like you own it made me laugh and Capri just walking off with the bird
Goodness, Theo is ADORABLE!! 🥰 So cute how Capri 'bird-naps' her there at the end! ☺
That Berry is something else though! 😄
Lol I love the ending, Capri walking off with the bird and your comment about your session being over. Too cute.
Maybe Theo wants pets as her treat? I know my Goffins will do ANYTHING for lovings and doesn’t care for treats. My cockatiel is the same.
Great suggestion!
Look at you mingling with the Cockatoo's! Loved this video

Capri at the end of video and training session was the topping on the ice cream!!😂
I love your interactions! Capri is a mini you!

Great content, how's Patty's bird Morgan doing? Those videos were the first videos I saw you guys in.😊
Floofed up Theo eating garbonzo beans in a backpack is the CUTEST.
I really appreciate how long this video is, I love your long videos and often rewatch them. Learning a lot from them!
Blueberry is so funny

I love how capri just walked off with your training session bird 😂. Very helpful video 😊
Great video, thanks 👍

So cute
That is the cutest and sweetest bird I have ever ever seen, oh my god. I felt exactly the same as Capri: I WANT her!!
This is so wonderful!! I love this episode. Berry wants to be trained too. Theo is super sweet!

I laughed for 20 minutes at the look on the cockatoos face when berry suprised him. You need to turn that into a birdtricks meme somehow!

Such funny timing, I just adopted a little Goffin’s last week who isn’t a fan of her backpack and loves trying to climb in my shoulder.
The only words i was saying was ' awww, how cute!'
Lol Jamie the bird in love.
Blueberry made me giggle. Theo did great though.
