I do the same thing. I'll look at something and think "Wait, you just turned 38." And I'll ask my 14 year old if I'm too old and she always says that I'm not 🤣 I typically just stick with my "mom wear" anyway.
We have that same lamp. From Pottery Barn Kids and it is a touch base on/off. My daughter has loved it and it was so helpful for her to turn her light off all on her own when she was little.

Hello Emily, question, what goodwill is that one? I’m in Tennessee and I haven’t had any luck at goodwills… I so go to thrift smart a lot and love it!
