This song brings me to tears every single time. I still remember singing this 13 years ago as a solo with a choir joining me at the end. You cannot sing this song and not feel moved by it.

My best friend went to be with Jesus a few years ago , and just before she knew, and I knew one of us was going to be going to Heaven soon. And it would be hard for the person left behind. But this is the verses that she was meditating on & we used to sing it as we did weight lifting in my kitchen island. And my husband made us slant boards with notebooks of the verses. And we sang various homemade Scriptures of king James version and we would stop and make notes on the pages. I’m so glad we had that time together. Praise the Lord for dear friends that God bless us! We have them forever in the Heavenlys! Thank be to God for your lovely orchestration. 🙌🌈🐑🌈
She didn't go to heaven she is sleeping in her grave until the resurrection. No one goes to Heaven at death . On the contrary live people goes to heaven not dead people. Jesus died sleep in the grave for three days rose and then went to heaven alive . Elisha went to heaven alive in a fiery choirot. Enoch went to heaven alive . Moses died and was resurrected and then taken to heaven .
1 Thess 4
According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Absent from the body Present with The LORD, Now our middle child Laurie who was in a car wreck in 2007 and had a traumatic brain injury -total care for me her blessed mom as she said at age 15 that she wanted to always be my little girl was on feeding tube & is with Jesus in Heaven this August 7th. After Jesus' Resurrection He went to Paradise and led captivity captive after the cross. Even our bodies have hope when Jesus comes with all the spirits of His children in a twinkling of an eye they will also have their glorified body as Jesus did receive when He arose. Today is our 50th wedding anniversary good timing to receive your message. Thanks be to God for this wonderful gift of marriage. We met at 15. Now we are 68. And God is so good♪ Praise The LORD The Creator, Maintainer & Sustainer of Marriage. God's richest Blessings to thee O Harmony!
