- The weekend I bought my 1st bike was not a pretty one! Here is the raw footage of my ride in the pouring rain. Let me know if you think I made any mistakes as a beginner rider in general, and in the sense of riding in the rain

I want to be in a relationship with someone I trust as much as this dude trusts his bike at 70 miles in the rain
Try a 1250 GS in the rain.. as if not raining..
It's just rain.
It's not OILED or something
....
2:37 I was like.... 95 MPH??? Thats insane... Didnt realize that the drop of rain made the 5 look like a 9 😂😂
Haha I noticed that too!
Definitely not 95 😂
That 400 redlines at 100
This might sound weird, but with my Africa Twin I always ride faster in heavy rain 😂 95mph straight line without any problems, just good tyres (metzeler tourance next 2) and no self love 😅
Love riding in the rain.
Yeah it’s not too bad if you’re prepared for it!
Just watching these videos to prepare myself going out in uk rainy weather. Already dropped my bike going on a tight bend with oil all over the road 😂
Good luck & stay safe out there
Keep posting new moto log content
that's good and try to make them pretty informative.you may have a million subscribers one day for sure. The R3 looks Bellezza.
I could only watch 1 minute. My anxiety couldn't handle it 😫
Just watch 1 minute at a time 🫣
Yeah. It is kinda easy going straight in the rain but imagine driving sharp turns. Sometimes I have to drive in heavy rain without ABS and every corner is breathtaking. This is different, you have well maintained roads thou.
Yeah if I had to do more curvy roads I would forsure have been more nervous
I know this comment is old but I'm a new rider looking for my first bike. People have given me mixed opinions on ABS but most say I should learn without it, even if I plan to ride in the rain fairly often (daily commute). Do you think ABS is super important in the wet?
1,000% get a bike WITH ABS...
People telling you to learn without it are absolute tools.
@@Alrightythen935absolutely abs, especially for the rain.
Riding a bike in rainy days is heavenly 😀
When properly prepared, yes I agree!
I ride a black Honda CB125E (it's all I can afford) in South Australia. No ABS.
I ride every day of the year.
Wet is okay in a straight line with decent tread on the tyres (just replaced tyres today, they were BALD :) .
But cornering in the wet is a whole 'nother ball game !
Another two bikers were killed here again recently...
Yes I definitely agree. In a straight line it feels the same but once you turn & brake it feels different. Ride safe out there!
Ngl. 250 here. With such a light bike and wind and rain. That looks straight up terrifying.
imo, it looks more terrifying than it actually was. the bike felt pretty stable
This is good, you got difficult experience in ur first riding session
Everything felt a lot easier from here haha
Is like...flying...into the future😆
It's like making a jump to lightspeed in Star Wars
@@yammiehighlife ah ah ah ah thats it
this is my free therapy I want a motorcycle so bad
Throttle therapy! It’s a great alternative :)
Man I have a Keeway Klight 202, That shit of the gas HAPPPENED TO ME, I spent at least 15 minutes trying to figure the fuck out what was WRONG!
It was so confusing! Especially since I tried 2 different pumps so there was no way 2 pumps just don't work at all
Anyone from nyc know how to get a permit for a motorcycle
Have you looked into taking a MSF training course? I believe you can take that to get endorsement for your permit
