Can i ask so if you are transfering from one university to another will you still be funded by nsfas or you need to apply again? Because right now I've been studying with unisa for 6 months i got an offer at cput. I'm so confused 🕴🏽

Can I change the university on my second year If I was doing 3years degree on my currently university but changed the degree to a 4 years degree, wanting to change to another university with different 3 years degree?
Hey, it is possible, but just know that Nsfas won't fund you for your 4 year degree. The will only fund 2 years, and the rest you will have to pay the fees yourself

Hey and yes it's possible but wouldn't advice for you to just go and study at Unisa for 6 months because you would have been wasting your Nsfas study duration.
If that's the case, then worry not. Nsfas will continue to fund you, but take note that Nsfas will only fund you for 3 years since you already used up the 1 year of funding

If you were studying last year and were funded by Nsfas and this year you were not studying, then unfortunately, you'll have to reapply
