I was never scared of this sound growing up, if anything it made me feel more engaged into the movie I was about to watch. Also at 18:38 and the similar trailers if you notice at the beginning of those, you can tell where Sony got the original PS3 startup from until they changed it in 2009 into a simpler version.
I'll never forget THX. sure when I was young, I thought that sound was absolutely frightening. it scared me so bad that I was afraid to watch my favourite movies such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Aladdin, Peter Pan, the Star Wars movies, and many many more because the DVD's and VHS tapes were certified by THX. but one day, I decided to conquer my fear of that "dreadful" sound. now I realized that these logo intros are just testing the audio so that you can have a quality movie experience. now that I'm older, I am very grateful for THX for making Cinema Audio amazing! I always get excited when I hear this awe inspiring, breath taking, thunderous sound! I wish THX can certify movie theatres and Blu-Rays again. whenever these trailers show up before the film starts, I just know it's going to be a great movie! I miss those days :)
THX is one of my favorite sound system companies. I absolutely love the Deep Note! I remember when there were Disney DVDs from late 1999 to 2006 with the THX Certified logo.
Even tho Broadway is original. Digitally Mastered still has it and it's been better now over the years. I guess the Thx workers would like to make it better into Digitally Mastered. Plus the audience is listening 👀👂

And it turns out that YES, it sure as hell was a hodge podge, not only that, it's not even theirs, it's stolen from Even Krauss, who just made a new THX logo history video 2 weeks ago, and told everyone that the uploaded stole their work and added fan trailers they most assuredly did not ask for.

I wonder why are most of the pitches in digitally mastered pitch instead of Original Broadway pitch?
