Dude, BUSY / SIRENS literally helped me when I was depressed a few years back. That and doing yoga helped me get back into music. Super thankful for this guy 🙏🏽
This man’s music helps me get through intense anxiety and depression. Pretty much the soundtrack to my life lately. Saba is a phenomenal Artist and Human. 🙏🏽✨
Before Few Good Things, it was difficult to find any long form conversation/interview with this young legend. Great platform, amazing music. Old fans rejoice, new fans welcome! 🙏🏾❤️ #pivotgang

@@easyin2D Good look man. I just listened to that and damn...how this man just dropping music like that and it's not blowing up? Worse, how the hell did I not hear about this dude before!?
Super dope of Rory and Mal to have Saba on their pod. Tbh I’ve always really liked Saba’s music but I’ve never seen his interviews so it’s nice to know that he’s actually a cool dude too.
This interview was SOOO good!! I love how they all progressively loosened up during the interview and began talking like good friends. They asked really good questions. I knew Mal especially clicked with Saba so I thought it was dope when he said that they would link soon. When Rory mentioned the last verse on the album I could relate because it's also my favorite verse on the album and one of my favorites of all time. Respect when Mal acknowledged this as one of the best albums that has come out over the last few years. That's the same way I felt when I first heard it and apparently that's what the streets are also saying right now. Continue being you Saba! Your style and aura is very refreshing! Also, just subscribed!
Great podcast! Saba is one of the most underrated artist of all time who continues to push the boundaries further. It's history in the making for sure. Thanks Rory and Mal for this one.
Rory put me on to this new album and WOW! Nothing short of amazing ❤️ “just lost a friend to an overdose made me question what I’m even sober for cus I use to think I was scared to die but I don’t even kno no more” 🙌🏽
Saba is one of my favorite artists. Been a fan since I heard his verse on “Everybody’s Something”. I’m glad ya’ll got him up here and the interview was dope 😌.
Amazing interview. I'm not going to act like I knew about Saba before this. I only listened to his latest album, and I really enjoyed it. This young man is very talented and gifted. I'm definitely a fan now. Rory & Mal have been on a hot streak with their content. Proud of these guys. Keep it going.
I appreciate the mixed content. Rory and Mal kickin it and then we’re served w. interviews in between. I think it covers a lot of their listeners. Haven’t heard of Saba but this was cool
And i really hate coming off like i’m comparing the 2 BUT anyone else notice just how much the JPB is now doing interviews? They can make their sub disses about ads but it’s apparent that Joe had to switch up the direction/content
This is soooooooooo dope!!! U r a breath of fresh air. I love ur music 🎶🎶 I love Pivot Gang and I'm soooooooooo glad I discovered u and ur pplz. God Bless & Keep it Pushin My G!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. To be honest I didn't enjoy Saba's latest album (and I was soooo excited), however I am not going to completely write it off as I believe some projects age well and make sense months and years later after release. I hated Jhene's Chilombo when it came out and I felt like it sounded like one long boring song but 2022 March, that's all I am listening to and care about. Care For Me is one of my favorite all time albums of my time!😊

Been a fan of saba since I was 15 im almost 22 now and it makes me really happy to see him get more recognition he’s really one of the most creative and talented people on earth he’s just gonna keep getting better
this new album has really grown on me... saba's cuts have always been hit or miss for me, not really miss, but i just didnt connect at all, that said, what i appreciate most about this album is how saba approached it as recording an album, not just a collection of songs or a playlist, like too many artists fall into putting out these days.... it took me until i could sit and listen to it in totality, in one session, to understand just how brilliant it really is as a cohesive piece of music, props to saba..... i'd like to see him collab with femdot again, that one track he jumped on of femdot's was dope af.... anyway, thx for the interview gentlemen, appreciated. peas. 🤙🏼
Forever grateful to this man for blessing my last album, and for his artistry. He could have wacked me for a verse and delivered some bs, but he really gave me a thoughtful and insightful verse on topic and in line with the themes of the whole album. Klassik X Saba "Noise"

Really dope to see Rory and Mal sit down with Saba he is truly going to be one of the greatest from the new generation care for me and few good things are phenomenal albums front to back
It’s funny you say Kendrick cause he’s always rapped in crazy pockets. I’m from Chicago so I knew him from “EST NI664” But that’s actually not a bad like mainstream comparison… and ironically Kendrick is from Chicago lol.
Chicago has a nice balance of musical artist but Rory you also have to appreciate the balance offered in Houston because you’ve been here it’s practically home for you. Don Tolliver, Travis, Zro, Bun B, Paul Wall, Megan, Lizzo, Ken the Man …I could keep going
Life & Logout from his Care For Me album. Production is great and the pocket he gets into on both tracks is fire. Would definitely spin that whole project if you haven’t already 🔥
