I personally think it’s better that way not that they don’t deserve the recognition because they do but I think whenever fame is added into the equation most bands often change their music into what fits “mainstream media” rather than continue to create the music they want and are happy about. Also, I don’t believe that Soen’s music is ignored, just that it’s only yet to be discovered by others.

What a great song and a great band. They were one of a few bands that surprises me by their quality of making such great music and i don't very often with one band, the first time i listen. One thing is sure, they're already one of my favourite bands nowadays. I listen to their music every day. Keep on rockin' Soen and making such a great music like you do. Thanks guys for existing!!

I am 38 years old, grown up man from Serbia, music lover, singer, little bit of composer and lyricist, and never, in my entire life I had such a goosebumps and eyes full of tears as I had it on first listening of this song. Fuckin' perfection (pardon my language). This is brilliant, the harmony, the lyrics, entire atmposphere and vibe of the song. And the vocal line - such a masterpiece of it's simplicity, honestness and pure emotion. Bravo... I'm so jealous right now, for I've never come close to this kind of perfection (just kidding :) ).

I was listeninig this on Spotify for the first time driving to work, nearly had tears in my eyes. This song hit me hard deep inside. One year ago I thought this'd be boring old people's music, but this song convinced me, that I was being a little kid who needed to learn to appreciate the taste of good whine, olives and 72% dark chocolate.

Since we can't have another Pink Floyd album, I will take more of this, please. Good Christ, nobody has nailed their sound down this well before. It's perfect. And that guitar solo - my ears cried with joy. Stunning work, guys. If you ever want to take up the mantle where Floyd left off, you certainly have my blessing, and I never thought I'd be able to say that about anyone.

0:55-1:20...possibly the most inspired 25 seconds I have heard in many, many years. Those few notes and the chills came on like nothing ever before. This is some seriously emotive guitar work. Hats off to the guitarist. The vocals are haunting and fittingly emotive. This is exactly the kind of thing I have been missing from Opeth in the past 15 years. Opeth is no longer "dramatic" and "epic" with their music. It's just jammy and well, music....you don't really "feel" it anymore, for me anyway. This Lotus track alone is all I needed. I feel it, man. Thank you guys for creating such beautiful music. It's priceless, really, the kind of emotions I get from it.
Good anecdote: The teacher asked once what did we talk about when we talked about happiness. And then one student said that happiness is what happens when you go to bed on the hottest night of the summer, a night so hot you can’t even wear a tee-shirt and you sleep on top of the sheets instead of under them, although try to sleep is probably the most accurate. And then at some point late, late, late at night, say just a bit before dawn, the heat finally breaks and the night turns cool and when you briefly wake up, you notice that you’re almost chilly, and in your groggy, half-consciousness, you reach over and pull the sheet around you and just that flimsy sheet makes it warm enough and you drift back off into a deep sleep. And it’s that reaching, that gesture, that reflex we have to pull what’s warm- whether it’s something or someone- towards us, that feeling we get when we do that, that feeling of being safe in the world and ready for sleep, that’s happiness.
Well to me, this is my metaphorical sheet.

The first time I heard the music. The part where from 0:21 to 0.23. Makes me remember a lot the version of Soldier of Fortune by Opeth, this part in specific is similar to when Mikael Aferfeldt says "Guess I will Always be, a Soldier of Fortune". This resemblance fits better the cadence in Opeth version than Deep Purple's original one in my opinon. And throughout the song that resemblance remains in my opinion. As Martin Lopez was part of the Ghost Reveries album where that cover came out it doesn't surprise me much to see these kind of similarities.
