Hi!!! I recently bought a chiminea & not so fond of the color. It’s smooth clay, no designs. I have yet to season or seal it too. I am new to this world. But is it possible to repaint over the color? Do I sand it lightly first? Or just use a spray or brush paint? I plan on using my chiminea for its purpose of fire. Anyone got any advice?

Hello, Yes we recommend sanding the current surface and cleaning with a damp cloth. Without knowing what the current paint or coating that has been used on the surface, we reccomen trying our multi-surface paint on a small inconspicuous area to see how it applies.
