I would suggest you looked at the interview that Travis did for WSJ back in November. He talks about how she reached to him , there was someone acting as a Cupid , and how before they met they have talked a lot on the phone . Thank you for the video ❤. Also he got her a bracelet with TnT letters that she wore last Sunday and the jeweller said he also made a match for him so I think their name should be TNT , it fits them well 😊

I honestly couldn't be happier for them. They look like they are having the time of their lives just being together and supporting each other. I also think the fact that travis is at her level of fame in the football world makes them feel comfortable enough to display their feelings and talk a bit about their relationship. I'm also very glad they spent close to a month getting to know each other before she went to her first game. It just looks and feels more ❤ natural and you see it in their faces. I love it. And he us taller and so funny. His podcast with Jason his brother is soon good I can't stop listening to it
I love how you think! Taylor had a relationship that didn't work out. There were lessons to be learned. I personally think that Taylor accomodated Joe A. He was very private & he didn't want to be public with their relationship. Now, she is with someone who has no problem with sharing (with boundaries). I liked Joe but I know him in a very limited way. She decided that relationship wasn't right for her. Good for her!

The fact that Taylor feels comfortable going down into the football field to celebrate with Travis and his family. The security is very tight for the aftermath of games too. I can’t imagine how exhausting it was to always have to hide a relationship, to show up for him and never have him by her side for her own achievements. Travis and Taylor seem like they’re having a lot of fun together and dgaf who sees. I love that for her. Great video too! This was so fun to watch today before the Super Bowl.

I was a Chiefs fan and football fan and knew who Travis Kelce was. He is at the top of his game as a tight end, possibly the best ever. Taylor is at the top of her career, the best globally ever. So these two are used to fame and attention and are a perfect match! I would be happy if more women would take the time to learn football. It is metal as hell! (It’s just an expression)

They have to be TnT! There is an episode of the New Heights podcast with Jason's wife and there are some subtle Swift references in that episode especially when talking about Travis' dating life. It was recorded AFTER the concert in KC! Love the podcast. I've been a Chiefs fan all my life. Patrick Mahomes family is all screwed up, but he is the exception! Brittany is ok... if you watch Quarterback, you can see more of her and get to know her. I don't follow her on socials but she's alright. I know a lot of people don't like her but she's fine.

My first time seeing u. I'm not ordinary a Taylor fan, but have been a football fan for all my adult life, and a Travis fan since he started with Kansas City. I must admit I was a bit concerned for Travis, because even though he is this big giant of a man, he and his brother r Midwest boys, raised by Midwest parents. My family is also from Ohio, so I know there is a bit of nativity about us. So my concern was that Taylor would crush Travis, and it would show in every aspect of his life. Because what u c of Travis is what u get. And it was no secret this was his dream. I am soooo relieved that she is just as much into him, as he is to her. NFL fan. Brittney Mahomes is disliked for being the "annoying athlete family member" type. People really started disliking her when a video came out of her popping champagne in the box, seemingly spraying the fans below her. Also being friends with Jackson Mahomes doesn't help. A lot of stuff I'd classify as a "bad look" but not anything significant.
Personally I'd give her the benefit of the doubt. She's been with Mahomes since High School. Not my place to judge her character.
Re: Brittany Mahomes. She had some not so great moments over the years with her behavior and her defense of her bro in law who was accused of sexual assault. But it seems like she’s changed and grown up quite a bit since then.
I agree with what you said about Joe, except for "because of him we got reputation, folklore, evermore, etc." hmmm, no. We got those albums only because of Taylor and nobody else. He helped? Yes. He was a muse? Yes. But saying we got those albums because of him is minimizing Taylor's role. I know you didn't mean it like that, Lauren, but I wanted to make my point because I've seen people on Twitter and TikTok making the same argument that only because of Joe we got those albums and it's unfair to Taylor

reputation would not be reputation without Joe though, especially in the latter half of the album. I get you feel like the phrase itself is undermining Taylor's pen and own creative direction, but without that source of inspiration and retreat-like environment during that time for her to reflect on, some songs would not be able to exist like New Year's Day, Call It What You Want, So It Goes, Dancing W/ Our Hands Tied, and Delicate.

Im a swifty but i was watched NEW HEIGHTS BEFORE THEY GOT TOGETER
Nobody in the football world was surprised by her going on the field, even with her level of fame. Don’t forget that 70k+ fans were there for the football game, not Taylor. And there have been plenty of big stars with her level of fame down on the field after championship games. It isn’t unusual. That is a location, kind of like Nashville where starts are mostly treated like normal people.
Also, the spike in the UA-cam subscriptions with all due respect is not just because of TS. A lot is it had to do with the Kelce documentary movie focused on Jason Kelce that came out last summer, plus residual build up with both teams almost repeating a Super Bowl game against each other a second year on a row in 2024 and Travis getting the chance to be on only the third team in NFL history to potential (and eventually) win back to back Super Bowls and because Travis and Jason worked hard to build their own marketing and the podcast this year. It wasn’t really a formal a thing with production before this year. For sure Swifties gave a big boost as well but with respect of you aren’t in that world you can’t really speak on how big it is. It is as foreign to someone not in it how big it is as it is for non-Swifties to really understand her level of fame even though it is without a doubt next level and Michael Jackson like in some respects. However, she isn’t it. The Super Bowl is every year the most watched program in the world. And most people who watch it know who the Kelces are and did way before TS. Sorry to burst that bubble. I’m a fan of both and live in both worlds. The point is, while from your world perspective it seems like “most didn’t know him” and there is a Swift effect for sure on his level of being know, he was by no means an unknown, nor was their podcast and the only thing TS brought was non-football fans to football. And as a woman who is a football fan and a TS fan I absolutely LOVE this impact and how she has influenced relationships with dads abs daughters. As someone who grew up going to pro football games with my dad in the 70s I know how much it can bring a unique bond to those relationships.
I think you are wrong. Globally as Lauren said,no one really outside of the US watches gridiron. So we had no idea who either of the Kelce brothers. I doubt that doco got traction globally,until everything broke. So glad we do now,the whole family are wonderful. Taylor is beyond Michael Jackson fame. It's Beatles like. Travis lives his life in full colour and loud. I love this for her.

For the record, the NFL has been having teams travel and play regular season games in international locations since 2007 and as of last year played 5 games internationally and will be moving to 8 games in 2025 because of the popularity internationally. The games have been popular, with tickets selling out in two days, nine months in advance. 25 of the 32 NFL teams have been granted rights by the NFL to specific countries to organize as in-person events, sponsorships, and merchandise sales. Both through this program and private player sponsored initiatives, there are well attended NFL camps carried on around the world and there are international American style football leagues.
Super Bowl LVIII was aired live in over 195 countries/territories via 80+ partners in over 25 languages. That is not because of TS and the NFL would not spend money showing it, if there was no viewership. The published numbers indicate an international total viewership of 62.5 million for the 2023 Super Bowl, which was a 10% increase on the 2023 game. While it is acknowledged that TS surely contributed to some of that increase, there is not reason to believe she was the reason for the majority of it. A large portion of it was the result of the NFL International Marketing program. Peter O'Reilly, executive vice president of club business, major events, and international at the NFL, has stated: “The global interest in our game continues to grow rapidly, from fandom to participation, and the increase in international viewership underlines this. The global growth of the game is a major strategic focus for the league and the 32 teams, and we look forward to continued momentum in the coming years." While compared to FIFA World Cup this is a much smaller audience, that does not diminish that your conclusion that no one watches is just flat wrong.
On top of all of that, the NFL has wide ranging viewership and fans in the US and internationally prior to TS dating TK. For example, based on the published statistics in one article, even back in 2021, NFL games made up 75 of the top 100 most-watched sporting events in the United States. NFL regular-season games averaged 17.1 million viewers and the NFL had even at that time metric showing m 67.5 million international fans.
If you don’t know American football you are in literally no position to debate the issue I was commenting on - ie non-TS impacts on the growth of the Kelce’s podcast and YT channel. If you are not knowledgeable about the NFL or it’s reach globally or in the US and if you are not familiar with the events and circumstance I mentioned as contributing then you cannot possibly intelligently comment and debate the point.
Also, for the record, I didn’t diminish her fame or even remotely suggest she isn’t at the level of MJ or The Beatles. I think she genuinely is. I also did not say, nor do I believe she has had no impact on their reach or viewership numbers. However, neither of those things necessarily mean that she is the sole or even the primary reason for the growth of their channel, which is the only point I was making.
That being said, in the scheme of the world nothing about this debate is actually important. If you want to believe TS is the reason for the growth of the channel, have at it. Your belief doesn’t make it true, nor does mine frankly. Neither of us have any legitimate data to fully know for sure the specific impact she may have made. I’ve presented my reasons for my position. I suspect we will just have to agree to disagree at this point if they are not persuasive to you.
