Sharp35 Yes‼️‼️ I don’t have any kids so most of my friends that do discount my opinions because I don’t have them. But I was a kid once and I know I was a super well-behaved kid because my mother disciplined me! And I know basic psychology enough to know that just giving them what they want or doing something they enjoy may temporarily allow you peace, but in the long run, it just conditions them to know that bad behavior = reward or enjoyment. That tells them that they’re more likely to get what they want by acting out or misbehaving than they are by asking politely and correctly and accepting whatever response they’re given by their parent/guardian/teacher/authoritative figure. One of my biggest pet peeves I see with parenting by my friends/family members, etc.
Then they start giving unwanted opinions and suggestions.
Can't get it to work on my 2015 GMC Canyon. I open the folder where the folders are at, find the files listed for the thumb drive, and they won't play. I've tried all the formats, including MP4........nothing.

Same as comments below. My 2017 Silverado won't recognize the MP4 files. The dude needs to specify this doesn't work for newer models.

It tried it on my 2014 Silverado and I can't get it to work. I put them in mp4 format but it still won't pull ant videos files up

I haven't tried it on my 2014 Silverado but I've looked up other things to do with the "radio" and I believe that we don't have the newer model of HMI controller. It's behind the glovebox. I haven't upgraded mine yet.
Does not work, converted movies to MP4 and they don't even show up in the video menu of mylink.

My 2014 silverado won't play my mp4's. It just sits there with the searching circle and does nothing. Should they be in a specially labeled folder. Not sure why it doesn't work. Any help would be great
Tried this on a black and white TV that sits on the passenger seat of my 64 Impala. Make sure the antennas are up and it will work great.

I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado. I have no place to plug in a USB cable but the center console which does nothing but charge a phone. Also these option once you hit media does not show up on my truck radio.
Your video is no help. It lacks detail. It is obviously for only certain series of 2014 and your video is obnoxious. I will not be following and I hope to never come across another.

The only way to have Apple CarPlay in a 2015 is to put an aftermarket radio in it. It cannot be added to the factory installed radio

Doesn't work on a 2015. You gotta have a video player installed in order to play the format. 2015 didn't come with video player so it's a high priced POS radio.

If you are trying to download from the built in App Store you have to have an unlimited WiFi data plan through Onstar

I recently Purchased my Camaro and tried to format my flash into FAT32 (As recommended). I converted videos into 720 (mp4) and USB will be recognized from ChevyLink but it doesn't play videos at all. Any recommendation?
2017 Silverado High Country. Chevy say's they made a change for 2017 MyLink, they say MyLink only does Music now. Dou you have a fix for this? Or am I stuck? I guess I could get a Portable DVD and pair it to the Vehicle Stereo some how. If you have other suggestion, please advise.

SeKToR HqK - that means that your truck will allow you to watch videos but you just have to mess around with the formats because when you go to download a video to MP4 there's alot of diffrent options i think the one you need to download it in "iphone MP4" format and the numbers have to be "640x320 and it will work

I need help and I can't find it. Mylink interface is randomly scrolling through radio channels and the interface is locking up. Sometimes it stops when you turn the car off and back on and sometimes it doesn't. What is going on?

Ground the negative wire from the radio to a ground on the body. Or it plays when the vehicle is in park.

You have to buy a NU-GM51 its a module its really easy to install its just plug and play you can get it on Amazon and you can watch movies or videos and you can use navigation while you drive
