There is only a few for this machine, only about ten. Have to make a copy of a card from scratch with blank cards, and punch individually. I have punch cards for other knitting machines. As to making patterns, I look for knitwear in shops and thrift stores to measure and create items. Shops are the best, as you can get an idea of measurement in sizes. As to socks, I just follow other videos. Shawls just look at hand knitting techniques to create items, the knitting machines are limited to 200 needles so any shawl has to most likely be in segments to create the size you want.
Any pattern, don’t follow magazines, and use punch cards that have short floats at the back. Concentrate on shaping and write down the numbers. Standard gauge machines only have 200 needles, so for adult sizes, they usually have a centre front and centre back seam.
This pattern is very organized, idk why but I see it as quiet luxury. Love it, keep it up!
